  1. I’d let Wood cook a little longer in AAA, no reason to rush him up

  2. I am honestly just tired of a third of our lineup being dead weight, but you’re absolutely right. There is no rush to bring him up. We’re not talking like some of the guys the Os have in AAA purgatory. James only has 4-5 weeks of AAA experience. I’d honestly just be happy to get a healthy Stone Garrett back for now.

  3. For sure man, I’d love to see him play too. I think with Stone, Robles and Lane coming back soon plus Blankenhorn doing well in AAA we will have some guys that can help with outfield and put up decent numbers at the plate. If Ruiz, Rosario and mensess can figure out hitting again that would help too. I know we are all excited to see the top prospects come up, hopefully later this year wood and a few others will get some limelight.

  4. I think a lot is two-fold with James. One, he’s a top prospect in all of baseball and has insane potential, but maybe even more than that he’s the start of a nice crop of big name prospects that fans have been waiting for ages to see. And I mean, if the team can be competitive without them, what can they do with them? It’s an exciting thought.

  5. I wouldn’t get too excited this early in the season. The way the MiLB schedules work, each team plays its opponent for a 6-game series and they switch each week. So this early in the season, teams have only seen a couple of opponents, and standings are really skewed. This is most noticeable with Harrisburg, who are already playing their second series with the very bad Altoona Curve. it’s easy to be above .500 when a third of your games are against a .200 (!!!) team.

  6. I get what you’re saying, but I think it’s fine to let people take this as an encouraging sign of the ship turning a bit. For Harrisburg, I get what you’re saying. And it’s too early to draw any firm conclusions. That said, it happening across the organization is the bigger thing. Especially when you are seeing so many players, hyped prospects and even established veterans struggling quite a bit in the big leagues. This gives hope that the changes made across the organization in the last year are baring some fruit. For a team not only wanting to compete again but be a perennial winner again, this is incredibly encouraging.

  7. He hit a pinch hit walk-off hit last night. He’s got hit by a pitch last week. I imagine he’ll be back in the regular lineup soon.

  8. Crews hasn't hit a HR since April 14, and hasn't played since the 17th:

  9. I was fooled by a highlight video that was posted yesterday. That’s my bad. Either way it’s been reported he got hit by a pitch. Zuck has already reported he didn’t play last night because of the weather.

  10. Her usage was very strange initially. Her initial storyline drags a bit but once she finds her footing she’s much better in later appearances, particularly in season 10. Season 7 is very hit or miss, but does help foster some growth for Clark. Laura as an actress does a great job overall. It just needed initial refinement to get the character to a better, more matured version that could actually be a mentor to Clark. I’m very glad we got that toward the very end of the show’s run.

  11. Well, this is legitimately a bummer…

  12. Kinda hoping between Wood and Garrett and maybe Yepez we can get Rosario out of here and push Joey to the minors. That would do wonders for the lineup. Imagine if Senzel hits the ground running too.

  13. Best decks of late seem to be: Numemon, Devas, Mirage, and a few others sprinkled in like Levia and Red Hybrid. Rapid has a few tops, as does Magna/Armor, Yellow Vaccine, etc.

  14. You can build in the back a bit to avoid getting bounced and run stuff like Genai to promote from raising on their turn after their attacking effects resolve. Removal options are also a thing as well, but it’s gonna all be about RNG to the extreme because you only have room for so many. You also want to hope they don’t have Bukamon or heritable jamming period. That said, because of that you shouldn’t see a ton of Mirage, tho you will usually still auto lose against it.

  15. I originally thought of him as our 2B of the future, but Garcia seems to maybe finally be putting it together. It’s just too early to know. I still assume House to be our 3B of the future. That said, for now I’m just going to enjoy the ride and see what happens. I’m really happy for Trey and hope he continues to grow into an above average ML regular. I think 2nd or 3rd is where he’ll end up long-term, if not as a utility player. He’s been an above average fielder in the past and clearly has strong base running skills and some bat skill that seem to play. Not sure he’ll have a ton of power, but if that’s all he lacks we’ll be very fortunate.

  16. Idk about herding, but mine sure loves hoarding socks. He even knows to sneak into the bathroom right after I turn the water on to grab mine 😂

  17. That's fine, but I don't think going 0-for-3 squanders any sort of hype or optimism.

  18. Especially when he’s been considered glove first to begin with. That said, he’s gotta start making better throws. That said, no reason to not be excited about what he’s done so far, especially after the spring he had.

  19. The error last night was when the rain was coming down pretty hard. I don’t think I fault him too much for that.

  20. I agree. For the fielding, I am talking more about his throws in the dirt. He’s got good arm strength and just seems to not be locked in where I feel like he can be. For now you can chalk it up to nerves, growing pains, etc. I’m really excited to watch him and I don’t know how fans are anything but encouraged overall with Trey so far.

  21. What 1B prospect is he really blocking? Yepez/Meneses? He is light years ahead of them in the defense department and actually younger than Meneses. He has at least been a really solid glove and is versatile defensively. I still think he will provide more than dom smith did long term. We’ll see.

  22. If this were end of the year or sometime next year you could argue he’s blocking Morales, but for now it would only be Yepez maybe.

  23. Yeah I mean he’ll be long gone by that time, and even still you could really benefit from having a gold glove caliber vet to learn from and good locker room guy

  24. He better be. If he catches fire he should be on the next trade outta town. If he’s not he shouldn’t finish the year on the team. Next year should be a 0% chance to be on the team.

  25. X-antibody and breath of the gods are the two cards that come to mind. X antibody can’t be stripped and breathe prevents bouncing for a turn.

  26. Aren’t a number of their young players Boras clients? Also, if they were looking to sell that would mean putting money into escrow to cover those extensions for highly touted, but unproven players for the most part. Really don’t blame them. I say that hating the Angelos family. They can all go to hell for the MASN situation and driving that team into the ground for years.

  27. Adley wasn't, nor is Means or Mullins. Committing to anyone would be nice.

  28. Prior to this past year you’re talking about a rookie, a veteran with an arm injury, and a CF with one strong year. I see your point though. But, my feeling is that they knew they were selling and in light of that it makes all the sense in the world. If new ownership doesn’t pony up you have a real problem. Os fans have long known that the Angelos family is cheap.

  29. Lowkey excited for Lipscomb (once he learns to throw the ball higher)

  30. Feel like a ton of that is nerves. He’s got a decent arm and is known to be a good defender overall.

  31. Why would someone put JetSlipyh on this? It’s already limited? Both Ukko are believable and probably MagnaX too but Pata is really good but not broken and JetSilpyh is already hit.

  32. Hell yeah Josiah card collection! Hoping for a great season!

  33. Narrator: “And everyone hated it…”

  34. I mean, he’s been a massive disappointment. That said, no reason to rush Trey when he hasn’t dominated any upper level with the bat and you’d get nothing from letting Garcia go since his value is at an all-time low. Garcia will either pull a Desmond or Kieboom. This year is about the kids and I don’t even see a reason to care about our record until at least a handful of them have gotten a cup of coffee.

  35. We didn't have to release Garcia to promote Lipscomb... Nuñez should've been on the chopping block, with Senzel as the 2nd option.

  36. It was also about the 40 man spot too. They wanted to add Law. They would need two 40 man spots and Nunez was likely never seen as someone who would start and more of a versatile defensive replacement and extra inning base runner.

  37. I have my eye on a few Nats. Abrams, Gore, and Gray for sure. Will likely grab Harvey and Finnegan to have saves covered between the two of them with the other being on the bench. Waiting to see what happens with Trey to see if I’d pick him up or not.

  38. Expected for the most part. Lipscomb still in camp is verrrrrrrry interesting

  39. We did open up a 40 man spot since the start of camp. Makes me think he actually has a shot to break camp as the starting 2B. I have to imagine all the mental lapses from Garcia hasn’t helped

  40. From a spring training game thread I suggested "Maybe the cook is Lipscomb at third and if house moves up we move Lipscomb to second"

  41. I would be very ok with that given House as at best coming up no earlier than mid-season, more likely August or Sept. Trey is a strong defender, so I have to imagine he’s a stark improvement over Garcia or whomever would be handling 3B otherwise. I’m very ok seeing him even split time between the two spots as long as he’s regularly in the lineup.

  42. If you couldn’t it would indicate it. Take the Justimon forms. They indicate you can digivolve into another Justimon with a different name. This simply says the lvl and with Omnimon in name. This card qualifies for that alternative condition, therefore it can evolve into another Alter B.

  43. He’s your win-con. You NEED to see him. You can also tuck him into the stack in raising and play one out with the option or Omni himself once you’re ready to go for game. His on play can delete something as well.
