Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with explosives attacked the US Embassy in Iraq on the night of July 6, TASS reports with reference to the Shafaq News news portal.
According to the portal, the air defense systems located in the embassy opened fire on several drones that appeared above it. The Sabereen News portal reports that one of the UAVs opened fire on the territory of the American embassy.
According to one source, it was not possible to shoot down the drones. Other sources informed about the destruction of drones.
On July 4, a US military base in Syria was subjected to rocket fire. There were no reports of casualties among the American or Syrian military.
