Love the movie. The only reason I didn’t pick up the steelbook is because the turtles never even ride skateboards in the movie. Bit of a nitpick though haha

There exists a Planes Trains and Automobiles in 4k with the exact same Steeelbook. But you won't get it for anywhere near $7.50... so this is a steal.

I remember hearing that the 4K transfer for it was pretty lackluster so may not even be worth getting it

Loved it, excited to rewatch! But Ember is definitely a 1st Gen, her parents are immigrants. Why is everyone calling her 2nd Gen?

The water people are definitely black people. With the angered hate towards them the first half of the movie, plus the guy voicing wade is a black man. In 2023 i really doubt they’d have someone misinterpreting what they want to be a white or black guy. Plus I don’t think the message would go as far if white people are the ones being racially hated.

They’re only shown to be hated by the dad Bernie though. It’s mainly the fire people that experience intolerance at times in the movie
