I work at a restaurant and I have gotten so many complaints about the water in the last 2 weeks , Most of the time it’s people from out of town who are really taken back by our water.
He needs to announce 11.5m towards more police presence or something. New cameras all around town, etc. 12 people got shot last night (that I know of), which is insane for ONE night.
Crime ridden areas are already HIGHLY policed. We need BETTER police not more. We could even potentially have less because they could be trained well with elite abilities. Many non-violent responses in the community could then be handled by persons other than police. Also it’s NOT the police job to protect you (thank you Supreme Court ruling)
A tandem of Pacheco & a healthy CEH who hopefully took time to understand the offense now just might become the greatest duo in the greatest offense ever. I would want to see his contract through.
But what about the other two? Chavez has done nothing about corruption as caddo commissioner and Tom is a rich oil and gas lawyer…. I just don’t see any good person running :/

I never said they don’t deserve it. I would just like to see poorer areas be built up rather than cater to the rich. And if you think about it, wealthy people most likely have better means to commute to sports fields as opposed to those who are impoverished.

I moved here from Kansas City 8 years ago! The highland area has very NKC vibes, there are good and bad parts and you’ll them when you see them.
