  1. You know what's really jarring? I was reading some puff piece yesterday going on about how amazing and innovative The Line is, completely ignoring the central lunacy of the idea and the insane resources required, and then then today, we get this.

  2. What is really bleak is the new Apple ad which is being mocked mercilessly on Twitter. Apple really sent the wrong message with that ad!

  3. You should put the game on a shard that can be inserted into the port in your head.

  4. I use the Simple Flashlight mod. It is also great for bringing out the details in a character for s screenshot. I rarely use the photo mode.

  5. Way back then I bought $25 of Dogecoin which will be worth $50K if it ever reaches a dollar. This seems unlikely.

  6. I just finished the game, any suggestions? I feel this game was so awesome i cant enjoy other games

  7. Try some mods. They can make it a whole new game. Theoretically you could expand upon the game, but I have found it almost impossible to even do a simple thing. Hacking the game might prove to be too much of a chore for me.

  8. We will never pay off that debt. Don't you worry about it.

  9. I have begun to explore the mods and this does not appear to be possible. However, you could give yourself the maximum levels on a new playthrough and make V a millionaire. This should allow you to max your chrome.

  10. Yeah I've played 2.0 base and I'm not impressed so far. Will get PL when it's discounted.

  11. I never completed the Peralez gig. For some reason, it fell off my radar. Maybe failing to catch up with the surveillance van failed it. I hate the chase gigs in this game. So many vehicles pulled into my path the last time that I got the distinct impression you are meant to fail.

  12. Lots of plays have been published. I have more books piled up than I can possibly read. If you ever go to New York City, be sure to visit the Drama Book Shop which specializes in plays.

  13. There is a long first act to get through and quite a lot of game mechanics to learn. But eventually you have more freedom to explore the world.

  14. Last night I discovered Brendan, the Spontaneous Craving Satisfaction Machine AI. He was funny just like Skippy.

  15. I did some research on Brendan. Looks like I have some more interactions with him to do. I didn't do those jobs on my first play through.

  16. If playing on a PC, get the Simple Flashlight mod before going into Dogtown because you have to find your way in a completely dark area. It is highly annoying and you might die frequently.

  17. If you are interested in logos this web site has vector graphics for most of the logos used in the game:

  18. I think version 2.0 broke a lot of CET commands. A lot of the commands I try do not work. For example, none of the Skill XP commands work. But I did discover that you can give yourself skill shards using the following commands:

  19. So many dramatic responses here. I believe it's sectors of tech jobs seeing this but they were always inflated since COVID hit and they were blowing up hiring. I work in IT now and hiring is alive and well. IT Specialist, System Administration, Dev Ops, programming. We have positions we're struggling to fill with qualified people.

  20. I have to hide from all the work I could be given. I fear the day when artificial intelligence will be used for talent discovery because then I will be swamped with job offers from all the companies wanting to put my genius to work for them.

  21. I like the Villefort Alvarado "Vato". It handles well and I am studying Spanish. "El padre sabe" translates as "the father knows" so I'm not sure I get that.

  22. This is one of the few instances of an actual book appearing in the game. I thought it was interesting. I suspect this was the only science fiction book they could think of related to chess. Mr. Hands is playing chess in Dogtown by using people as his pawns.

  23. GIVE US A FREAKING FLASHLIGHT so that deaths like these don't happen again. I was really frustrated with that part cause I kept dying. Increasing the brightness also really didn't help that much.

  24. There is a mod that gives you a flashlight.

  25. I don't really think that's a problem of the level design. The gaps themselves aren't that big and they can be avoided with a simple jump. Like I said, the real problem is lighting (Environment and Lighting artists' job and not the level designers').

  26. I made it through the derelict garages a lot faster after installing the Simple Flashlight mod!

  27. I went there when it was still Williamsport Area Community College. It was easier than high school. I make a lot of jokes about it. For example, I took bowling for my physical education requirement.

  28. I don't know. Canadians get free health care but their system is so broken that you cannot see a doctor before you die from your illness.

  29. Recently I came across videos of She Will Punish Them on YouTube. It looks like a much sexier game although the reviewer warns that it has some bugs which are not likely to be fixed any time soon.

  30. I'm thinking of learning how to mod the game. I plan to try more commands in Cyber Engine Tweaks tonight. At the very least I would like to dump a list of all the items I have in my inventory.

  31. Phantom Liberty is sort of a James Bond adventure for V.

  32. Yeah, I've been looking at buying a pc basically just for 2077, so I can get access to those mods

  33. I think hacking the game might even be more fun than the lame hacking you do in the game. Cyber Engine Tweaks gives you access to a command console and a game database which is very complicated and a bit cryptic.
