Pretty sure on LinkedIn that counter increases as soon as someone clicks "apply". It doesn't actually track people who complete applications, especially considering they often link to an external careers page.
IME SDET is generally just what QAs are called now even with close to zero software engineering skills. Itâs a self-defeating cycle, generally anyone with stronger coding skills becomes a SWE for significantly better pay, so on average an SDET provides less value and are paid less.
It kind of depends, there are a ton of highly technically skilled testing professionals, if you're a performance test specialist for example I suspect you'd walk into a very well remunerated job anywhere even in this current market. We find them multiple times harder to get than devs
Whilst the security isn't there, the money is better, at least compared to the perm offer. Will just need to see how much of the daily rate I get, after taxes, student loan etc.

Yeah none of the recruiters are volunteering to share market information recently, i have had a couple in the past but its rare. I will make sure i ask them next time as it should be a two way street, i tell them my side and they tell me their side.
He also said the few roles he is getting are taking up significantly more time than before because of the sheer amount of applicants. Although he did say a huge amount were low quality. The role he was putting me forward for was quite niche and he said of the hundreds of applicants he'd only put 3 forward, absolutely tons of speculative CVs got sent in with very few actually matching the requirements
Honestly Iâd think Jeff Nippard is being honest, heâs just got turbo autism and is vertically challenged so he doesnât pass the eye test for most people
I've completely 180d on Nippard. I was convinced he was juicy but after listening to a lot of his stuff, and considering he's like 2' tall along with how long he's been training and how autistic he is about everything I think he's natty.
He and his roommates NEVER took out the trash. Like ever. Huge pile of full trash bags in the kitchen, almost reaching the ceiling, with trash in all the cabinets too. Every great once in a while, they would rent a U-Haul to take it to the dump. So confusing to me, but I didnât know how to help them break the cycle. Nice guys, but sheesh.
When I was living with friends we had this Buckaroo like system. Where you put your trash in the trash can until the point you couldn't get any more in without it falling out. Whoever was the person to reach that point took it out. Looking back it was pretty awful.

Did I miss where this person stated a figure? They just said lots. People looking for hypertrophy or muscle retention should absolutely eat lots of protein relative to a standard Western diet.
