  1. On point number 2. Property taxes in Nevada are actually pretty low. Also state income tax does not make housing more affordable. If you want proof just look at the nightmare to the west of us.

  2. We’re at backpack height & it’s going to hit us in the face if you’re not careful.

  3. Some commenter said it looked like Richard Simmons choreographed it, and now I can’t stop seeing that 😂

  4. Richard Simmons 😂😂😂 Watching the beginning it’s like wtf? Then he dials it up to eleven! 😂

  5. I wanted to like One Hundred Years of Solitude since everyone praised it so highly, but I just couldn’t

  6. The worst. So boring. Cannot understand why it is so canonized. Btw was kicked out of a conversation as the OP in this group awhile back for dumping on this book. Hilarious.

  7. Not sure if you’re being serious or sarcastic. Multi syllable words interspersed with f-bombs. The writing was just awesome.

  8. Oddly enough fuckin both. Anyone who hasnt should go watch deadwood and really pay attention to the way they speak. Somehow, calamity Jane at her worst sounded more educated than most people I graduated with.

  9. This season not working for me. The worst of all so far. Maybe this Midwest/murder/violence thing has just run its course. Probably should put this format to bed.

  10. That conversation probably never came up when he didn’t have dementia. Now that he does who wants to be the one family member to make that decision? Essentially whether he lives or dies if there is a chance for him being saved. And don’t bring up quality of life. Don’t you think this family already understands that? My point being whoever makes the decision not to do lifesaving measures now even if it could have worked is something that family member will have to live with the rest of his/her life. Give the family a break. Don’t you think they are going through enough already? Maybe you can take patients like this home yourself to give the family a bit of a respite? Didn’t think so.

  11. In a nutshell. It’s hard for families to say “let him/her go” when it hasn’t been discussed with their loved one beforehand. Don’t be so judgmental.

  12. Is this supposed to be a riddle 🤔, he asked a simple question and got a complex paragraph that contained no answer and caused even more confusion 😐

  13. Just give her a close ended question she can’t dance around. Trump or Biden?

  14. Read Slaughterhouse-Five twice. Hated it both times. Read his other works. Hated them as well.

  15. You’re not alone. Because of his reputation whenever I’ve read his books have always been let down. Never found those aha, lol, how ironic moments that everyone seemed to be so enamored with. Felt like I was choking down a bowl of spaghetti with no sauce.

  16. I mean repetitive is kind of the point. I personally adored the book, but to each their own.

  17. Repetitive is the point? Life’s too short man.

  18. Annihilation, Blade Runner, Alien, Terms of Endearment, An Officer and a Gentleman, Dune, You’ve Got Mail, Blazing Saddles, Heat, The Seven Samurai, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Citizen Kane, South by Southwest, The Wizard of Oz, Vertigo, Psycho, The Thirty Nine Steps, Hell or Highwater, A Fist Full of Dollars, Hang’em High, The Good The Bad and The Ugly, Dirty Harry, Star Wars, The Wrath of Khan, Gone With the Wind, Pretty in Pink, Die Hard, Top Gun, The Shining, It, Dirty Dancing, Do The Right Thing…

  19. East of Eden by John Steinbeck. A story which examines whether we are destined by fate or liberated by free will. Are we shackled by what we are born into or whom we are related or can we master our fate. The characterizations and story are so well done. This is the book I subconsciously yearn for whenever I read something new.

  20. Innovation is behind the east and west coasts by ten years or more. Don’t really know why. Too expensive for hospitals? Older physicians set in their ways? This means top doctors, trained in the latest medical advances, don’t want to come here. Kind of a catch 22.

  21. Drinking too much of anything can kill you. Including water.
