Aah, nice to read that I am not the only one feeling like this.. Microsofts' decisions seem to be made by people who do not use their products regularly. Often the new way to do things is just less productive and more annoying. It also does not help that they change their workflows and menus every couple of years, making looking stuff up on the internet so annoying.
My experience with Etsy was really bad. They suspended my POD shop before I started to sell anything - without any information on the reason. Literally None. Highly sketchy and unprofessional.
This happens because too many POD sellers are selling generic items. They started allowing POD so designers could sell their unique art on clothing and mugs that they might not be able to make themselves, but people quickly took advantage of it. So if you don’t use the POD provided images or have a design too similar to others then they assume you’re being shady.
That's helpful. My designs are certainly original and unique. But, indeed, I did not use only Printful mockups. Also, my listings were still in the draft stage. I was not even selling yet. Anyway, life goes on.

Tip outs as you mentioned are usually internal and poorly regulated, typically resulting in the FOH still paying income tax on money they didn't receive, because it was paid in unreported cash to other departments.

Well young people, Democrats, and progressives would love this because they're 70 plus percent of the population. But this country spent 200 years crafting laws and policies to only allow certain people to vote, and those same people would definitely fight against actual democracy.
