WE DIDNT immediately boo Tomahawk. THEY came out on stage with a foam deer in southern West Virginia. There were holes drilled in its body and a spot light behind it casting light beams across the venue to make fun of the bow hunting crowd in the state. They then proceeded to play dueling banjos from the movie Deliverance implying that we were all back woods ass raping inbred cousin fuckers. That was when they were booed off the stage in Huntington West Virginia. Tool played a shortened set list and scolded us for being bad. The next night Tool posted an apology online since they were unaware of what the ignorant pricks had done until after the show. Damage done. Still a fan of tool. But I would love to see an episode of the show “Where are they now?” about Tomahawk. I bet it would show them giving toothy blow jobs behind a dumpster for spare change. I’ve seen them several more times. No one else ever made fun of the crowd before Tool takes the stage.
I would imagine they aren’t staying in the states between the two dates. That’s nearly a month and a half. I would also imagine they could easily stop in Seattle after the Gorge for a session, before the break.
He went on at 4:30 in Albuquerque, but that was the 420 day show 😜
