  1. Rebel Assault 2. Very interesting game to be my first Star Wars game but it did make a lifelong PC gaming fan out of me.

  2. I feel like putting Adam & Eve that high kind of ruins the list. It really highlights you don’t have experience with that shop. It’s really bad, full of products with unsafe materials and a poorly made, very ugly website.

  3. My kids are 8 and 10 and they've been playing Stardew since they were 6 and 8. We have a farm we share and play together every once in a while, but usually they just play together. I think the only theme that raised questions was Shane and his depression. Other than that, though, they've taken pretty much everything at face value. If you want to marry a girl, that's fine. A boy, that's also fine. The only thing now that they've begun to chafe at is the lack of development of the characters. It's boring that the kids never age up, that your kids never age up, etc. But Stardew has been something they've loved for years now and we've all enjoyed playing quite a bit.

  4. You should check out this video, he does a great job going into why some people dislike the CGI from the prequels. It’s a pretty fair assessment and he points out that some of the hate is unfair, but does also explain areas where mistakes were made.

  5. Ginger Island is just a location you visit like the Desert. Sure, it's a bit more involved with more to do, but you usually don't move there permanently. You CAN later on, of course, but it's not ideal since the island farm area is much more limited than your homestead back in the valley. It's more of a stay the night situation and go back home the next day, plant some tropical crops and harvest them when you have the time, etc. Heck, the path to the island farm area isn't even opened up right away, you have to collect golden walnuts and use those to "purchase" access to that part of the island.

  6. Laser-sword man and his pet slug fend off the green wave

  7. As someone who watched a lot of Nick at Nite as a kid in the 90s, I absolutely would love to see more, too.

  8. Darth Antankerous. I’m just generally annoyed by things.

  9. Lately I can’t get out of the Stardew hole, maybe later I branch out. The only other right now is Princess & Conquest which is a non-guilty pleasure of mine, just a weirdly compelling lewd game.

  10. Princess & Conquest will probably be something I remember years from now. Such a weird, convoluted, compelling game.

  11. Uh, have you not watched Ahsoka...? ;^p

  12. other galaxies are an hour commute away.

  13. Both Victorious videos taken together are Quinton’s magnum opus, his Empire Strikes Back of the iCarly saga videos if you will. Best paced, best jokes, most interesting insights, easily the most breezy and rewatchable of all of them. You barely feel the runtime.

  14. I guess Henry Danger will be the prequels and Game Shakers the Sequels. D&J would be Indiana Jones and Zoey 101 would be Willow.

  15. I’m rewatching it now for the first time since the DS video and WOW do all of the “show without a creator” jokes hit different now knowing the intention behind them

  16. I absolutely love the running gag of "I feel like we're forgetting something that we should logically have talked about by now....

  17. I dunno if it was meant to be a running joke or just some weird thing, but I kinda love how it seems like each video has him mispronounce something repeatedly only to have a joke about it or say the correct pronunciation in a following video. Like in the first iCarly vid he kept saying Miranda Cosgrove as “Cosgrow” and in a later video he mentions someone mispronouncing Miranda’s name and says something like “which is an unforgivable offense” as a really subtle joke. Another vid had LMFAO always said as “LMAFO” and the last Sam and Cat had him addressing how he pronounces wiki as “Wee-kee” but refusing to change since he likes his version better

  18. Yeah or how he keeps saying “burges” instead of “barges” as in “Cat burges into the room”. At first he says it without comment, then he corrects himself, then he goes back to saying it wrong but reacts to his mistake in a funny way. Like you say, it’s hard to tell how much of it is a bit, but it’s funny nonetheless.

  19. I went through phases on this. When I was a kid, RotJ was the best. Then as an edgy young adult, Empire was the best (my Clerks era). Now I like them all and can’t decide which I truest like best. But as I get older I generally like the simplicity of New Hope or the bombast of Jedi, and Empire when I’m in a weird dark mood.

  20. when does stardew stop being.. kind of a drag? i’m only like 2 hours in so granted im probably in tutorial mode still.. but what does your day to day gaming experience in stardew look? do you just fish? what’s there to do now that that new update came out?

  21. The game has a lot of self-goal oriented play so maybe try and find something reachable that you want to achieve and focus on that. I be like “I want chickens” “I want my watering can to suck less” “I want to complete the Community Center” “I want to reach the bottom of the mines” “I want to marry Haley” then tailor my gameplay around acheiving that goal.

  22. I’ve been getting back into Princess & Conquest. I haven’t played through it since it got out early access so relearning everything and trying out new story routes has been interesting.

  23. Honestly, trimming is the most anyone really needs, guys and girls. Shaving is cool and all, but if it’s your first time, trimming is a good way to start out. Afterwards you can probably both talk more about it and you can experiment with shaving if you want.

  24. I saw it when I was very little, before I even knew what a star war was. I should revisit it now.

  25. I know of at least 2 famous internet people (MatPat and Henry Zabrowski) who when they started out and for many years after recorded their voiceover in a closet. The clothing naturally dampens any sound, it’s basically the perfect impromptu recording studio. If that’s an option, you should consider it.

  26. It’s crazy how cg animation has fixed every problem with 2d animated hentai. Animated hentai is finally good

  27. Dad looks like alternate reality George Lucas, where he became a sexy poet and novel writer living in Europe and didn’t make movies.

  28. I watched The Phantom Menace with my two Gen X brothers not long after it came out on video the first time. These guys were of the right age that they were kids when Star Wars came out in 1977 so they were there for the whole original trilogy. I'm much younger than they are, there's about a 10-15 year age difference. And they loved it. They thought Jar Jar was funny, Boss Nass was impressive as both a character concept and special effect, and the podrace was awesome. Every new alien and special effect was cause for positive commentary and amazement. They were so enthusiastic and had an unapologetic enjoyment of everything on screen.

  29. TS4 is still my go-to right now because it's just there, ready to play, with regular mod updates and new CC being made all the time. TS3's mods and CC have been slowly dying, the people who created it not maintaining the download links, the last time anyone checked in was over 10 years ago at this point. As fun as TS3 is, as much as I love it and generally agree it was a better game than TS4, it's a dead game with a mostly dead community. Notice I don't say anything about EA's official nonsense. I feel strongly about my decision to no longer give EA my money for mediocre packs and haven't done so for a few years now, but the player created scene is still very strong and makes the game still fresh and fun to play.

  30. Yep, did this almost as soon as I was able to when all six films were out on video. You feel the tragedy of Anakin stronger, even in the original trilogy, when you watch it in chronological order. And, I mean, there were inconsistencies in just the original trilogy, it's not a big deal. I'm actually on a chronological rewatch right now, but for fun I decided to throw in the extra shows and movies as I go. I'm currently watching the essential episodes of The Clone Wars after having finished TPM and AOTC. It's been enjoyable thus far, I never saw the Clone Wars series and I'm liking it.

  31. I love all of these. As someone who has learned to appreciate all the Star Wars films, I enjoy the positivity.

  32. Yeah that scene with the lightsaber handoff in 9 was legitimately very cool to see

  33. I know I've played TS1 too much that the 3rd image makes me cringe bc of the bookshelf placement, how I know no one can get around it. But this is amazing, great work, lovely memories.
