I read an interview with someone on production and they said elimination games are all of pre determined days/weeks in advance and they have no control over who goes into what elimination. The eliminations have to go thru approval and testing days in advance long before the people who are in them are even chosen.
Genuinely one of the most annoyingly bad books that I’ve come across recently. What makes it so annoying is usually books like this are self aware about their tropey cringeyness and can be fun. This shlock took itself so damn seriously. Author really thought she was doing something with this not special but also special skinny girl with special hair. I wish more of the discussion was less about the tea and more about the songs themselves. Of course her songs are really personal but they're also meant to be relatable to us. I for one am going to pretend half the songs aren't about you know who and enjoy them for what they are.

My general feelings on everything since 1989 is if you remove the songs Taylor and team think will be popular (ttpd, fortnight on this one), I generally like it a lot more.

I admit I love a synth and campy ironic taylor has always been a favorite of mine. Florida, who’s afraid of little old me, so long london, guilty as sin, loml - there’s a lot to like here.
I don’t understand why stalking isn’t a more serious crime. 14 weeks is a joke. She’ll be right back where she started in no time. Stalkers take away their victims right to peace - it’s unbelievably hard to deal with whether you’re a celebrity or a “normal” person, and police often can’t or won’t do a single thing to help. Even if it’s not necessarily always a physically violent crime, it’s most certainly emotionally violent. It traumatizes people for the long haul.
I feel so seen rn. Season 1 of Scream Queens is the best thing Ryan Murphy has ever done and I feel like people need to know that Glen Powell and Nick Jonas once played golf frat bro besties in the most iconic himbo way possible.
I say this as someone who absolutely loves color in a home (and in my own place), but the twins use of color and wallpaper was not cohesive or well done. The secondary suite with the giant giant wall of palm leaf wallpaper is one thing, but to do another garish wall paper in the ensuite of the same room is too much. You gotta pick one or the other. It’s not cohesive. I’m probably alone on loving the pink bathroom but that’s okay even I know it’s obviously not for everyone. I’m down for a green kitchen but I hated the green color they chose it felt more like a staged apartment in a recently gentrified neighborhood than a multimillion dollar kitchen. The wood on the cabinets looked soooo cheap like veneer your landlord replaces after you leave. I liked their primary bathroom and closet the best out of everyone’s, but the bedroom felt like a mishmash and poorly thought out. And three?!?! Laundry rooms? A dog was on the top floor? What were they thinking?
Yes I keep seeing it over and over and it’s a jump scare every time. I think it’s because the overly filtered face is soooo close to the camera and the smile is so over the top for the situation and perfectly symmetrical. It doesn’t seem right to my brain either.
I think letting her audience decide their favorite songs recently has served her well. Is it Over Now never would have got the attention it got if she had pushed Slut like it seemed like she intended until it had no hype.
