Shit game, but realistically were we going to win against City on a title charge? With our injury list? No. The shit refereeing performance and irritating commentators don’t help. We’ve set the bar really high with our performances last year, and it makes these games more painful.
He's in pretty bad form right now, honestly. Those wonder goals against Tottenham and Stoke aside, he's looked lost on the pitch both going forwards and defensively. I think not having Mitoma on the wing really hurts him, their partnership was a big part of why the left wing was so dangerous for us.
Fucking sucks. Then again, "we got throttled by a very in-form Roma away at stadio olimpico while many starting players are currently injured in our first ever round of 16 tie in Europe" makes the situation make a lot more sense. Yes, De Zerbi's tactics make us defensively soft, but playing and believing in his style is what got us here in the first place. This is the worst run of form we've had under him, but this happens a lot to small teams in Europe for their first time.
I'll be the first one to say that I'm a new fan, and I only started supporting Brighton after the 2022 World Cup. Between then and now there have been a few blowout games (Everton and Villa come to mind) but none of them have felt nearly as bad as this game has.
Nice to know that every time we suffer a massive defeat we turn around and demolish the next team we face. Rollercoaster of emotions. Couldn't love it any more!
We pride ourselves on developing players. I completely agree with the article's analysis, but it still seems like a big issue that Ferguson isn't playing. On the one hand it's probably motivating him to go out of his comfort zone and gain the skills to try and win his place back, but if he's too inactive he won't grow as much and it will hurt our reputation for serving as a clear path to the first team
It's easy to forget that Ferguson is only 19 years old. By any margin, it's probably good that he's not being played to death at a young age. He'll still develop as he does consistently get playing time. While it's annoying in the short term it will likely have long term benefits for his fitness and injury likelihood.
I'm up to 8.3 now with Japanese ground line. So far I've gone through the worst pain imaginable and also had some incredible moments. Some of the worst vehicles along with some of the most fun to play
Honestly if there were any song that would make me think that, it would be "Mvmt IV: Every Bell Will Ring" from their first christmas album. Around 4:30 in that song their banjo plays what essential is an Irish-sounding reel.
Top of the group! We always find a way to score at least one. We played well the entire time, and Gilmour and Igor had especially good games. Couldn't ask for a more exciting team.

Saka went down and we fell asleep? Why???
Andy Naylor says he has a minor knock, could be related to knee injury he's been carrying as mentioned by another comment.
Barco looks a little lost, can see why De Zerbi thinks he needs more time to adjust
If experience is a big factor why was Estupinan on the bench? He’s won it before. Also Fati must have some European experience

Bad run of form, but remember we have a lot of key players out. This hurts a lot but so many people in this thread seem to have lost perspective
We're not out of this game yet. Don't lose faith, UTA

Is it just me or has Fati's first touch been horrendous all game?
This feels really bad
JPvH either is an incredible ball carrying center back or he slips in a critical defensive moment
Hilarious to me how our corners are just our tall defenders in a conga line behind Mitoma

I guess it's goals or clean sheets, not both
you jinxed it
It's not a dominant Brighton game without conceding a stupid goal to deny us a clean sheet

Japan 6.7 is one of the strongest tier for tier lineups in the game I think, but otherwise it's pretty rough

Mostly sad that our scoring-conceding record in the Prem has stopped
Silver lining, it's great to see Wellbeck back on the field. For the few moments he had on the ball he looked great.
So the streak of scoring and conceding has ended, how many did we get to?
only 20, at least in the prem :(

PEDRO! LETS GOOOOOO
Facundo why
Igor has been having such a good game, love how he's fitting in to the team
To be fair this happens like every 1 in 10 capture attempts. It can be annoying, but it's not constant.
Where do you get this BS?it happens every time I play OBJ and see a entire Air Force coming for me
War Thunder players when someone else has a different experience than them
any idea when March, estupiñan get back into the team? Enciso might be available January onwards, dunno about the rest...
March is probably gone for the rest of the season.
used to and still is left shift by default
doesn't that just toggle binoculars? Is there a way to go from max zoom in binoculars to min zoom in binoculars?
