Ignoring injury risk, who can see in side of those w/it stacked that high??? I could as I'm tall, but the average woman I think is 5'4 and the average male is 5'8...and looking at that other pallet I bet that's about 4-5 feet in the air in totality.
I get what youāre saying but the scale and level of cruelty that these animals are subjected to is not equivalent to the things you listed, as depressing as they are.
I mean homicides were down like 17% in 2023. Can't really juke the stats with homicide unless you're implying the police are hiding bodies in vacant buildings.
The meaning of criminal is non law abiding, whether a law is in place for āgun controlā criminals are gonna figure out out to commit crimes. Chicago has the strictest gun laws, yet theyāre always in the top 3/5 of most gun homicides. Baltimore, same case. St. Louis same case. Itās not a gun problem. Itās people who have ill intent.
People donāt seem to like these much, but what about in a place like California? I feel like all wiper blades Iāve had so far disintegrated over the hot summer & months of being parked out in the sun. If I have to replace them every winter and only use them regularly for a few months it should be OK, right? Or am I missing something?
Lol no it's not. Humboldt and the emerald triangle are struggling right now. Where most of the black market was orginally from... I know plenty of people that have dropped out
Improper storage needs to be a crime in more places, it needs to have modifiers that increase punishment if the firearm ends up stolen or injuring or killing a child.
My son and his family have lived in FP for 10 years, and he works in Glendale. Same thing others have said, you get used to the drive and the snow. He says the prices are so high up there because the same large family owns all of the food stores so they can just set their own prices.Ā
Yup the same family owns everything but a few restaurants up there. That's why they tried stealing all the local newspapers, etc regarding a dollar general moving in.
They donāt close the 5 at the grapevine. They close it at the 138. So they will still not be able to go to the valley except through Lancaster. At least thatās where I have always seen it closed.
I donāt disagree, but look around the store. Costcoās use of excessive plastic packaging has been out of control pretty much for as long as the company has existed. Costco isnāt alone, donāt get me wrong, but the massive plastic packaging for tiny items in the pharmacy section, having all the produce in plastic bags and boxes etc is pretty uniquely Costco, and is painfully unnecessary.
Iām not going to defend what any of these people said, but if you look at Ireland and Colombia other places with a history of political terror that managed to stop fighting, at some point, some people who supported terrorism eventually become committed to the political process and become part of government.
Considering in California a felon in possessionĀ of a stolen/unregistered/ghost firearm is considered a non-violent crime and released with no need to pay bail and only a promise to appear for a court date...
60 cents, what a joke. Thanks for the $2.40 a day. Where is our cost of living raise? We deserve more. It should have been at least $5. They better pay attention up in the C- suite. They might see more unionization efforts like they did in Virginia.
So to understand why long term Costco employees may be salty is to remember all the top corporate officers got over a 400% increase in pay over the past three years or so.
I feel like there is a lot of crime that goes unreported by the victims or the police don't bother to make a formal report so hard to say what is up or down other than the mandatory reporting crimes like murder rape etc.
Funding is allocated due to these reports. Does anyone living in the city really think theres a higher up in the government that roams the city every day and looking for crime hot spots to send funding to? The only way the city knows that there are problems in certain neighborhoods and certain areas is due to the crime reporting that reflects whats going on in those zones.
Lucky for all of us here, my kids are now teenagers, so we don't have to argue about this. But for the sake of the argument, kids have to gain independence at some point. And leaving them in a store that has a person at the exit is the training wheel. The kids have to be old enough to stay in the store, of course, and know all the phone numbers.
You can do it however you want, but extract with all samples and helldivers always.

Yeah, "stack it high, watch it fly" was always a shitty policy and lead to tons of lawsuits and loss in the past.
if we get attacked and enslaved by aliens this will probably be us too
Have you forgot about call centers and cubicle farms our corporate overlords wanted us to return to?Ā
I get what youāre saying but the scale and level of cruelty that these animals are subjected to is not equivalent to the things you listed, as depressing as they are.
I'm just saying to improve life for the animals, we need to start with compassion for each other and animals.
we really need that nuke stratagem rn ngl
The "Hell Mary" strategem.Ā
I mean homicides were down like 17% in 2023. Can't really juke the stats with homicide unless you're implying the police are hiding bodies in vacant buildings.
If we counted overdoses (especially of minors) as homicides like some other jurisdictions our stats would look waaaay different.

Sweden has strict gun control and they are having a large spike in gun crime lately because of... gangs.

Nope, these fall apart in California as well. The dry weather does not do them any favors and they fall apart quicker than other brands.
What a way to start Armenian Heritage and History Month....
How much of a pathetic douche do you have to be to go afterā¦. Bernie Sanders?!
Somebody stupid really doesn't want three day weeekends...
Lol no it's not. Humboldt and the emerald triangle are struggling right now. Where most of the black market was orginally from... I know plenty of people that have dropped out
Why grow far from population centers when you can grow forty minutes or less from LA in the middle of the high desert?
Improper storage needs to be a crime in more places, it needs to have modifiers that increase punishment if the firearm ends up stolen or injuring or killing a child.
Or you can also make it a harsher penalty for gun theft as well.Ā

If i5 is closed they shut down the 138 too.

I miss when Kirkland Brand items actually came in actual buckets that were reusable.Ā

Dude, this comment shows you have no understanding of the troubles in Ireland.
Mass shootings are up to, and acxording to Dr Park Dietz and others they are a form of suicide and should be studied as such:Ā Ā
Carne Asada Bake you're still alive in my heart but I'd much rather you be in my stomach.
I could never get use to hot avocado inside it though, lol.
And how many off those assaults involved legally owned guns?

Remember if you suffer any property crimes, vandalism, petty theft, etc you can do online reports at LAPD and the LA County Sheriff's website.
There is a grain of truth in that.
A poor design doesn't mean you stop going after the criminals.

I know in some areas the DAs won't file for petty theft, trespassing, etc which use to be used against thieves and trouble makers.
just like most laws that seem absurd, they start off with good intentions but get bastardized into something unrecognizable
Plague and disease use to empty houses, so allowing squatters help keep those houses from being abandoned.

Europe and other areas need to definitely stop letting radicals into their countries.

Shit only gets fixed in election years these days it seems.
I feel like there is a lot of crime that goes unreported by the victims or the police don't bother to make a formal report so hard to say what is up or down other than the mandatory reporting crimes like murder rape etc.
We have online reporting back for LA County Sheriff and LAPD.

Yup, need the reports to get service in those areas. No reports than it appears crime free.
I leave my kids unsupervised with books, sitting on furniture. The tvs have been butterflies and crap for as long as I can remember
Please don't leave your kids unsupervised at a store peroid. Any store.
