  1. If you want something interesting to listen to. Hadestown the musical is amazing. Its the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. There are two albums you could listen to. The Original Broadway musical" which is great. The musical itself is worth watching, but listening to it is still great as the musical is sung-through, the entire musical is in the album, like jesus crist superstar. The hadestown studio album is also very good. The songs are slightly different and I think the songs in the studio album stand on their own a bit more.

  2. Well they did. The whole reason he got a show in the first place is because they focused on a different Loki with a different growth arc

  3. They should have the actors from the movie play those characters. That would be the funniest shit, like the actors know it's horrible and for Netflix to be like "hey wanna redeem yourselves in our live action?" I would be hilarious. Also gotta do the terrible name pronunciations.

  4. Even better would be if they got M. Night Shyamalan himself to appear as the playwright

  5. Damn who would’ve thought that Rick Riordan, someone with a questionable track record of representing minorities, would have made a questionable decision on representing a minority?

  6. No it didn't but try and tell the actual creator of the story that he's wrong.

  7. God I hope the avatar live action gets the same treatment

  8. I don’t. Even though 10-year old me didn’t like the movie, I’d love to see it referenced in the member Island Players

  9. I don't know, I say it's the opposite - an anime series that looked fun, but turned out to be dark.

  10. Yeah that’s what I thought; it’s spy family if spy family depicted the spy and assassin thing more realistically with two hitmen dads instead of

  11. "Calamity" doesn't really work imo, since Calamity Ganon is very different from Ganondorf, so it doesn't apply to TotK.

  12. Aka luxords theme (i dont care if it started with axel, it fits with luxord way more)

  13. Yknow, in Re:Mind, for Luxord’s version of the 13th Struggle, there’s a section that’s not found in any other rendition of the piece. Some are speculating that section will be the basis for Luxord’s theme in future installments

  14. I don’t like they didn’t give Amit a long companion quests seems kinda unfair. Is the MC canonically a Ravenclaw then? Lol

  15. That’s how I’ve been playing and the lack of a ravenclaw companion feels much less pronounced this way. Considering how curious the MC is, I think that also tracks well be them being a Ravenclaw. Adding to that, the books originally feature a Gryffindor, the stage play features Slytherins, the movie-original franchise features a Hufflepuff, so it makes sense that the game (which features a lot of puzzles) leans towards a Ravenclaw MC as canon

  16. Im sorry but just curious about the Hufflepuff movie? Or you are referring to goblet of fire?

  17. Fantastic Beasts is the movie-original story that focuses around Newt Scamander, a hufflepuff

  18. this is not true. You can teach anatomy to AI, just compare first pics of anime or persons and now days, how did it improve if it doesn't understand anatomy? or just look AI images 4 years ago... your problem and 99% of people with same argument is that didn't even bother to try to understand how it works, yeah when it does good images people are like "iT jUsT cOpIeD iT" lol.

  19. I’d still argue that those AI art models don’t understand anatomy. There’s a concept called explainability, which is an entire huge academic research topic on its own. It’s essentially “we know that our models can perform well, but they’re incapable of explaining how they decide on a certain output from a given input.”

  20. It's become sort of a joke in my very small twitch community that I look similar to Professor Garlick. I threw together a very terrible cosplay with items I had around my house and shared it on twitter and got some pretty positive responses, so I thought I'd share it here too! What do you think redditers?

  21. The "power of friendship" bit between the champions and their descendants is really cringe.

  22. I have no clue what ‘power of friendship’ moments you’re talking about tbh. Riju and Yunobo both got to work with their heroes, Teba got to see Revali for the person that he is behind his reputation, and all of Sidon’s moments with Mipha were just heartbreaking

  23. Revali is actually really cool and having an antagonistic champion makes their story less one-dimensional

  24. All of the champions are great! Actually, they all kinda form a quintessential narrative ‘5-Man Band’. (You can read up more on this here:

  25. That’s a good reason, but it’s an out-of-universe reason. Is there an in-universe reason?

  26. They’ve already spent a bunch of time learning one particular skill, and it works for them. Getting those upgrades would be th equivalent of learning an entirely new skill set. Hope is good at flying and using her blasters at a shrunken size. Scott is good at maintaining large mass for prolonged periods of time and fighting using that method.

  27. I just wish we didn't need to use a cursor to navigate the menus. It's so slow and tedius.

  28. Fun fact: on ps5, you can use the touchpad to navigate the cursor like a trackpad. I find it’s only really useful for if you[re going to be in the menu for a while though since it’s much more comfortable to switch to using your index finger instead of a thumb

  29. At the time that bumblee got hinted at Blake and yang hadn't interacted in like 3 seasons

  30. They also completely shat on all the development that went into Blake and Sun like their relationship meant nothing to either of them

  31. I wanna see him back as Robbie Reyes. He was one of the better parts of Season 4 IMO, but I do wanna see an MCU Johnny Blaze first.

  32. Bc appreciating something seem as sexy apparently makes you a simp and thus a bad person in the internet. I swear sometimes online culture eludes me

  33. God I loved that show, people do not give enough credit to DC's animation for producing some incredible shows from BTAS to Justice League to Young Justice

  34. I wouldn’t say he mastered any of them, but he certainly did take away the philosophies of each one. Makes him a very well-rounded person and subsequently, the most suitable leader for the gaang

  35. Dude "wokeisam" is just a part of the cultural zeitgeist now. Can it come off as heavy handed and awkward at times, yeah totally. But it's also just the way pop culture has been heading. And it's a good thing. I'd rather have them exploring these concepts than ignoring them entirely. I've learned a lot about various topics and subjects that I probably wouldn't of. Tulsa Massacre in Watchman, the Partition of India in Ms. Marvel. She-Hulk honestly kills it in showing the struggles women face in our current society. Eventually it won't seem as "in your face" once they find their footing and integrate it into thier stories more naturally. And honestly some of these stories already have.

  36. Totally agree except for the “eventually not being in your face” part. For folks like these, anything remotely different than their “normal” will be “in their face” until they learn to be better, more accepting people
