So United can either negotiate a deal with BVB now, or risk further lowering his value staying at United, possibly not playing, and receiving astronomical wages.
If he preforms again against PSG i can see them go for him as an mbappe replacement and PSG can definitively give him the United contract so i wouldn't say we aren't in control plus i think he would prefer to play instead of rotting on the United bench
