  1. Ah yes I’m monitoring this set now! I have my bids ready I’m going deep on this one, I’ve rationalized that I’ve saved enough money on my previous purchases being wayyyy under market value I think I’m safe going wayyyy over market for this set! The cheaper the better but man I WANT this one lol. I appreciate you looking out for me tho! And if I remember correctly you had that dark turquoise looking apex card right?

  2. Yep! I had a feeling you might've already had an eye on this set lol. Was thinking about putting a bid in for the hell of it, but it's more or less the same as what I already got (though I am curious to see how much it goes for). And admittedly, the Orange Odyssey does look pretty cool. Hope you get it!

  3. Haha! I do like the orange but it’s still pretty gross lol, I hope I get it too, if I don’t get it I’ll be surprised because I’m putting down some big bucks, probably too much... but hey gotta sacrifice sometimes right? This will be my first “at or above” market price purchase after 3 years, I got the 1973 extra games for $150 so I feel like I owe it too myself to pay a little extra on this one 😂😂😂 but if someone beats me even with what I’m putting down then they 100% deserve it because then they REALLY REALLY want it 😂

  4. Wow, that went for much more than I thought it would. You win?

  5. There was, the Magnavox odyssey website I mentioned, made by and avid collector, he was foreign so there were a lottttt of spelling errors but it was still trust worthy, sadly the site has changed and is missing a lot of information I once commonly referred too, one of them being about the tape rolls, I also have a buddy who still has a tape roll If I remember correctly, but people likely removed the roll and used it somewhere else, I believe even Richard Sanford AKA MagnavoxOdysseySpecialist on eBay confirmed the tape Debacle, he is now passed though

  6. Noticed that too, but the old pages are still accessible through the Internet Archive

  7. Enjoyed the throwbacks to “Death” and “It Hits the Fan”

  8. Some pics of my Irish Setter, “Tormund RedHorse”

  9. What a glorious steed! I love the picture of his head on your forearm

  10. Thank you! Yes, they’re the sweetest

  11. "Computers make excellent and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them." -Mr. Spock

  12. Genuinely curious, are there any large universities who are handling things well?

  13. Same thing happened to me two weeks ago and I’ve yet to receive another

  14. How the heck are they going to be performing?

  15. They haven’t told us yet, but at this point it’s still planned to be in person. What other schools are doing is breaking the band up into groups of like 50 people and keeping them distanced.

  16. I fit my drum set in my double in Blackburn. Piano should be no problem

  17. Jesus. That must've been nice. I got stuck in Baker West last year. Not much room for my kit there. But did they really let you have it there? Seems like it might be a bit loud.

  18. I got a few complaints but my RA never responded to them and everyone was cool about it for the most part lol. It was a Tama Club Jam with silent stroke heads and those low volume cymbals. There was a keyboard and guitar player in the suite next door and we’d jam

  19. That particular one is a Telstar repro from the ‘90s. I think they look even cooler than the original Predictas

  20. Even today some stuff from the ‘50s still looks futuristic. It was the space age!

  21. Dammit Jim. /Star Trek reference

  22. I'm keeping it just in case, I'm sure hoch and smith are probably trying to negotiate/figure something out and that's why we havent heard anything. Also they're probably more worried about the marching band rn lol so I wouldnt be shocked if were not really on their minds rn

  23. I was wondering about summer sessions cause on the site it has them starting in-person on July 6th but we haven’t heard anything

  24. We’ve had the disc set for probably the past 20 years at this point? Break it out every now and then. Never gets old!

  25. Yeah his prices are completely nuts but he's also helpful in putting together smaller packages if you need help completing missing pieces from the system or the games (like the dice or chips).

  26. Yeah his prices were pretty high (ridiculous for complete sets). They weren’t too bad for the 100, 200, 300 etc. consoles though, especially when considering how 99% of people don’t ever test these things before listing them (even though most TVs still have coaxial inputs?) I bought a few off him, I think he bought a set from me once, definitely an odd but overall nice guy. I saw on Facebook that he passed away not too long ago. I think his daughter is selling his last boxed system that’s also signed by Baer.

  27. One of my favorites, especially with that see-through speedometer
