My tuxedo cat is going through this now. He got hit by a cat two days ago and we were told he has damage to his spine and will most likely need his tail amputated which is the best scenario. He has not peed and vets said it's a waiting game for now to see if he can pass urine and he starts to recover... I feel for you 😭😢😭😢
I am so so sorry that you are going through this, but I am really hoping that your cat pulls through. Are the vets teaching you how to express his bladder at all? Also, amputation means there is a chance your cat could recover nerves and start peeing again, he would adapt to having no tail without issue, so I am really hoping that if it comes to, your kitty will be okay. Please keep me updated, I would love to know what happens next. If you need any info on bladder expression, maybe I can help too.
He has not been drinking much for the last two days, it's really hard to get him to drink so the vets said they are not sure if he isn't desperate and doesn't want to try or he can't. They expressed his bladder today after more tests and said we should see tomorrow if he starts to recover but the poor boy has been drugged and is not moving much after general anaesthetic he needed today. I hope he is just too tired after the long day he had. Good info on the tail, I feel so heart broken but if it would help him recover, it's definitely worth it. Keep strong ❤️😢
It’s likely he’s lethargic from the meds, but if he’s given painkillers he should be okay. My cat wasn’t eating or drinking, was also hiding throughout the day (which is how I picked up on something being wrong) and the day her painkillers were given, she went straight back to regular activity.
Lost my cat a month ago, the most gruesome and heartbreaking loss of my life and she was only 2 and half and she was most definitely my baby. The pain gets easier with time, everyone grieves differently, but what helped me is reaching out to a friend when I really needed to cry. Like uncontrollable ugly sobbing. Don’t go through this alone and I’m so sorry for your loss. He looked like such a beautiful boy and I am so sure he was grateful for every day he had with you as you really seem to love him dearly. You will be okay ♥️

Unfortunately people equate legality to morality, sure legality has a basis in morality, but doesn’t entirely take from it, especially when it comes to age of consent. 40 year old will be just fine having relationships with 16 year olds just because it’s legal, and they can argue day and night that it’s fine that they’re doing it because the law permits it, but ofc it doesn’t mean they are safe from public judgement, and honestly they shouldn’t be. Most normal and well-adjusted people understand that age gaps are relative to age, if anyone speaks against this then they’re not someone who’s morally all there.

Haven The Cabin is super nice, little cafe up in mountains with a fantastic view of the greenery and the sea. You don’t have to walk at all to get there, just drive and park. There’s hammocks and stuff you can sit on to enjoy the view as well. My tip is to go at a time where you can watch the sun set. Hope it helps!
