  1. The QotSA one is a bit off. That's way too advanced for stone age art.

  2. Seems to be the way with kids entertainers. As the kids who grew up with them become adults they turn to live shows and the adults in turn go to them for a hit of nostalgia and shock at how their act is now more adult.

  3. Timmy Mallet has written a couple of books. He's an evangelical Christian now so they're about his life changing when he joined the church I think.

  4. Winnie the Pooh is the J.F. Sebastian of this...

  5. These remind me of the Grebuloffs from Final Fantasy XIV. T_T

  6. I think it’s a poorly executed “Cleopatra” rw i w3 p 3 d r a. Here’s an example.

  7. I think you're right! I couldn't even see the k until you pointed it out.

  8. Oh you are NTA. Your poor nephew! It makes me furious that people still think 'tough love' is an acceptable form of parenting. It's child abuse, plain and simple.

  9. this is why you need proper sex education in schools

  10. dbxp says:

I think a lot more women say they listen to men than actually do. Just look at some of the comments on askmen about why guys don't open up. Sure there are some women and companies which are truly supportive of men's mental health needs but there's far more offering empty platitudes.

  11. So what? We blame men's mental health issues on women?

  12. dbxp says:

I didn't blame women, both men and women in the most part don't help men with mental health issues. However this shouldn't only be on women to solve, otherwise you could say that homophobia is up to the homosexuals to solve or votes for women was purely up to women to solve. Alternatively to say it another way you could it's up to men with mental health issues to solve their issues, which is the current system. All of these are just different ways of saying X group of people have Y issue therefore it's X group's issue to fix.

  13. Ok you're not willing to engage with differing opinions so that's all the time you're getting from me. Have a nice evening.

  14. Yeah that was the real giveaway that this was not written by a woman if ever we needed one.

  15. Does anyone else feel really bad for the guy in the picture on the left? I have no idea who he is, but I couldn't imagine a single picture of me being used as a hateful neck beard meme.

  16. Yes, I do feel bad for him. It's so hateful the way they take pictures of people, people they presumably think are representative of themselves (??), and abuse them like that. That man is someone's beloved son, someone's brother, someone's partner. Because most people don't have the level of hate in their hearts that it takes to sit making these memes all day.

  17. I love them. There's a cafe near me that does an amazing gooseberry cheesecake.

  18. Alien Poppins is a mash up of two of my very favourite films of all time. I'd watch the crap out of that.

  19. You still don’t understand what you’re dealing with, do you? Perfect word, the biggest you’ve ever heard. It’s Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

  20. I admire its purity. A survivor. Unclouded by conscience, remorse, or Chim Chim Cher-ee...

  21. Yeah I watched that years ago in a cinema. It was about the minutes in before I was sobbing into my sleeve.

  22. YTA. Be honest with yourself, are you jealous that this friend had this experience? Is that actually what motivated you to say what you did?

  23. Shame it's not true, otherwise we'd be able to do our bit to 'protect ourselves', but it's not, so we might as well wear whatever we like.

  24. Yeah she said that if a woman (doesn’t apply to men) is unhappy in her relationship, no matter why or how long, she should give her feelings to Jesus (whatever that means) and just suffer through it. She also said happiness, for a woman, is not the most the most important thing in a relationship.

  25. This makes me so angry. I'm a feminist. I'm also a Christian minister. So much of my life's work is unpicking this sort of twisted thinking. It's not in the Bible, it's not from God. It's from the patriarchy. God overthrows oppressors time and again in the Bible, and that's the same way people who oppress women, the weak and the disenfranchised will end up

  26. I prefer stiff old towels, since it feels like I'm getting an exfoliation

  27. I use Ecover detergent and no fabric softener. I really hate the idea of adding more pollutants to our water than I absolutely need to, and fancy smells on the clothes is definitely not a necessity for me. Clean is fine afaic.

  28. Also men can lactate as well so if we’re going off that men need to cover their tits.

  29. So many men would be horrified to learn this. Sorry, 'my dudes', but the crazy world of hormones means that you might lactate too!

  30. They can also grow breasts. Gynocomastia ftw!

  31. NTA. You're not an asshole for being alarmed by that train of thought, but how you proceed from here is really important.

  32. It is the old person drink of choice, however, have you tried it? It's amazing.... 🫠

  33. In your face, everyone who's always shitting on Lincolnshire on this sub for being boring. Now it's marginally less boring for one very specific reason.

  34. I like big yachts and I cannot lie.

  35. I mean, I'm more of a motorsports fan but I can't make that scan to the lyrics of that song....
