  1. I am in contact with them but they’re saying it’s the “third-party” pedals problem. I asked if I could trade in my amp for one with a 48 kHz usb sample rate (and also how would I know before hand) but haven’t heard back.

  2. Tell them you are trying to use it with PC, their own ASIO driver, and PreSonus Studio, and that it isn’t working. This way they can’t blame a “third party pedal”.

  3. I saw somebody saying that it’s a better idea to use Velcro to attach the battery as they used magnets and the magnets somehow damaged their battery life? I have no idea about these technology things so idk how true it is but just something I saw lol

  4. That’s why I went with a battery holder that uses two existing screws on the back of the amp. I was trying to avoid sticking anything to the covering of the amp. If anybody is interested in that setup, here is a quick video I did on it:

  5. Last night it was giving me 504 errors on Chrome. Was working fine on Edge. Haven’t checked Chrome yet this morning.

  6. Since the ULooper uses the USB to loop, you can’t use Bluetooth audio. This is because the Spark can only use 1 non-guitar input source at a time between its BT, Aux-In, and USB sources. So you can’t use any feature that would send audio to the Spark amp.

  7. Will you still be able to change your guitar sound via the app while using the loop pedal, or will only the 4 presents on the amp? (Referring to the spark mini)

  8. Yes. I’ve changed presets via the app, on the amp, or via my Spark Control foot pedal. All between overdubs. Works great on Spark Mini. Best Spark amp for this device.

  9. I have heard there are issues with the spark 40 and that it adds a slight chorus effect in the review videos I have seen, will this be addressed? Can you switch to tones that are not in your 4 presets?

  10. I can answer the second question. Yes, you can switch tones via the app.

  11. Can you change amp tones from the app while recording with the loop pedal, or are you limited to the presets on the amp while in use?

  12. You can use the app to switch tones. The ULooper doesn't interfere with that.

  13. this is the first I'm hearing of a hardware revision

  14. I discovered the problem in the Spark 40 that I purchased in late November. To see if a unit has this problem, install the Spark 40 ASIO driver and check the sample rate. If it is 48Khz, you have the old chipset. If it is 44.1Khz, then you have the newer chipset.

  15. yeah Macs don't use ASIO, they have Core Audio which just works, no additional drivers needed

  16. Yep. It just works. Just wish I had a more powerful Mac. Someday.

  17. Just watched this, thanks for the video! I'm not seeing many custom grilles when I search online, or pictures of custom grilles that other people have made, so this was helpful! Definitely seems like a cool way to add a personal touch to the amp.

  18. It really is a cool way to personalize your amp. And a lot can be done just with their built in tools. But if you want to really make it yours, images are great. Just can't use stuff that you don't have the rights to, like band logos and such. If you end up making one, take a screenshot after the design phase and send me a pic. Or send me a photo once it is delivered and installed.

  19. If anybody is interested, I did a video on making custom grilles. I show a few of mine in the video. Even how to use AI image generators to make custom images.

  20. I've been following news of this upcoming product since I first started seeing posts by OP.

  21. I expect to have some answers in the next few days.

  22. As soon as they are available for either pre-order or order, I will be sure to post here.

  23. That was a bit harsh. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I can respect that at least. When you consider that the seller made that for me as a gift, you at least have to appreciate the gesture.

  24. You can send me one of the go holders

  25. Be sure to watch my June 9th Livestream where I will be giving away a few to subscribers to the channel.

  26. While this is good if you already own a looper pedal and have a spare amp with an AUX-In (I wouldn't go to the Guitar-In). For those that don't have all of this, XSonic will be releasing a looper pedal called the ULooper very soon. If you are interested, they have let me do a view preview videos about it.

  27. The JamMan would have the same limitations with the Spark amp due to no FX loop.

  28. I haven't had any luck so far with the plunger in OTG using any method so far. I've given up on worrying about it for now.

  29. There is also a custom option where you can do a mix of keyboard and Gamepad inputs. This way to could keep the plunger analog.

  30. I don't see a custom option where you can mix keyboard and gamepad inputs. I only see an option for a custom keyboard. Can you share where you see the hybrid option?

  31. You are correct. I made a mistake. I will correct my comment.

  32. I was going to buy a Hot Rod Red from Sweetwater, but then I found a Black one in stock at Sam Ash. It was from a cancelled order. Ordered it today and snagged a nice discount on it too. Can't wait to try it out. It will be my travel guitar and I'm pairing it with a Boss Katana:Go.

  33. I still see the other weekly section in the old app. I wonder if that will go away or get bundled into the new app.

  34. I have a feeling that may be it. The Spark amps prior to the Live sometimes can't even support a full effects chain (depending on the effects chosen). That would lead me to believe there isn't enough overhead to run an internal looper.

  35. EDIT: I've owned an Airstep SPK and returned it for the PG Spark Control. Back when I was testing the Loopy app, the Airstep SPK did have an advantage. But I hated that setup and decided to wait for a better looping scenario.

  36. I made a video on doing OTG Pinball FX with an ALP Micro. Similar details would apply for a standard ALP and FX3. If this video helps you, please consider subscribing to the channel.

  37. This and many other questions are answered in the follow up video posted last night. Go check it out.

  38. looks like a standard footswitch like many other pedals have, I wouldn't assume it's any louder than those

  39. Correct. Same click sound as my other pedals. Practically identical to my Lekato Looper Pro.

  40. It seems to be coo to play with several tones and unlimited loops. When will it be released, and especially for Europa ? Thanks for your feedback

  41. It isn’t unlimited loops. It is unlimited overdubs on one loop. I don’t have a release date yet. I will share when I do. I’m pretty sure XSonic sells worldwide, so Europe shouldn’t be an issue. If you can buy XSonic’s Airstep product where you live, you should be able to buy this when it is released.

  42. please test USB recording - specifically whether it is possible to record DI of the guitar (also fine if you can create a completely amp/effect-free preset for that) and whether it supports ASIO

  43. That's a lot. I may not be able to cover all of that in the first video. I may have to do follow-ups to get it all. Thanks for the great ideas.

  44. Back for me too. I also got 2 rounds today, without manipulating the URL. I still have to use a special URL to get to it. It doesn't show up organically on my PC browser.

  45. FYI: There will be a looper pedal specifically for the Spark amps coming out in the near future. It is called the ULooper, it is made by XSonic, and I know because I am testing one for them.

  46. That's it? A Plexi with all controls at 12 o'clock and no effects?

  47. Not working for me in the U.S. today. Jewel, PC, or Console.

  48. Just an FYI: XSonic has developed a looper pedal that works with Spark amps (using USB as a make-shift effects loop) and doesn’t require attaching a phone/tablet to your amp. I am one of several people testing this treat right now. Expect to see it for sale in the near future.

  49. The ULooper pedal connects to the Spark Amps via USB. The USB on the Spark amps can handle both audio out to PC and audio in. So this pedal takes advantage of that and will record loops from the USB audio out and return the loops via the USB audio in.
