TIL: 12 years before taking their fans to court for sharing their music, Metallica released the "$5.98" EP, titled to stop their record label and music stores from overcharging fans - the record came with a sticker warning 'DO NOT PAY MORE!!!'—a direct jab at music industry markups

We simply haven't found the right woman for the job yet.
The music in A Knights Tale is purposefully anachronistic. It's meant to invoke that sports movie feel to drive home the point that these competitors were the star athletes of their time.
Office Space is just a nudge just 90 minutes and it's a comedy that people still live and talk about 25 years* later.
The Menu told a complete contained story in 1h 47m, and it was really well-paced and satisfying.
I was initially really, really skeptical about The Menu but I wound up really enjoying it (as much as a movie with that plot can be "enjoyed"). I didn't realize it was that short.
Mall Easter bunnies and Magic Eye paintings will never not remind me of poor Willam in Mallrats.
There is a brief mention of him in 2018 (in an obituary for a family member) so hopefully he was able to fully recover from this.
Miami Vice the show is arguably one of the ten most influential shows of all time (at least in the USA) while the film is a cult classic
But that's a film based on a TV show, not the other way around.
MRS DREWE WAS IN THE WRONG.
Are you sure you don't mean MR Drewe? You know the one that lied to his wife about the entire situation
No, I do not. I mean Mrs Drewe, the kidnapper.
Back to School is Tony Stark dicking around in college before his parents' death.
Woah woah woah, let’s not just throw out classic movies and pretend they were mere stepping stones.
He had his agent calling the director about it. He wanted that part.
He's old and thick,
Snatch then Blood Diamond
....... interesting. I like it.
Scrooged.
Isn't Bridgerton more or less Jane Austen with lots of steaminess and sex added in? If that's your speed, apart from the obvious go-to adaptations of Emma or Pride and Prejudice, I've always loved the 1999 version of Mansfield Park. It's a little steamy, a twee bit scandalous, but not R-rated.
Wallace in Tusk. It doesn't even matter that he's kind of an asshole, nobody deserves that.
It wasn't even her mistake, she was just the messenger. Old lady didn't pay her loans, she got what she deserved.
Eh, the way the movie presented it, she could have been more lenient about the situation, but hard lined the issue in order to impress her bosses. She didn't deserve what happened to her, but she wasn't just an innocent cog in the machine.

I love when a genocide is being compared to a KKK rally... Bots are getting really smooth brained.
Respectfully, the OP is asking about different kinds of protests and gatherings, not commenting on why people are presently protesting or taking any sides. It's a valid question and doesn't deserve such a snarky response.
Which type of film do you want to support with your cash?
The greatest FBI death toll occurred in my tiny town of Montgomery, Ohio. They were flying a bank robber to find his buried cash. Plane went down killing 4 agents, the robber and his lawyer. The buried cash has never been found.
Wait, is that where the idea for A Simple Plan came from?
Dirty Dancing is a good movie.
Um, according to what the movie Selena taught me about undergarments, I'm pretty sure that it a bustier.
I don’t see boning and the cups look soft? I’d call it a longline bralette.
Was a joke :-) albeit, from a very old movie
There's some apps that will pay you for running ads on your lock screen, it isn't a lot but if your phone is going to be sitting locked while you're driving, might be wirth looking in to?
If anyone could elaborate on this topic it would be much appreciated! I'm on the road anywhere from 10-15 hours per week and could set up an old iPad on cellular data to run this.
I think Coin has something like this, for Android at least. But, full disclosure, I only know of apps like that, I've never used anything that overlays my lock screen because I'm terrified that my phone will get borked. So I can't vouch for how well anything works or if it's any good for extra cash.
My daughter and I watched the movie and honestly, I almost turned it off because neither of us really liked it. And then, all the animals started talking. She wound up loving it and will sing along with every song now. I was just saying that I hope Disney+ puts out a sing-a-long edition with the lyrics on the bottom of the screen.
That's not nepotism, though.
I'm confused about this.
