  1. They are also doing the league mandated upgrades/standards. So it should change at least a little bit in the park.

  2. Better stadium lighting and improvements to locker rooms are a couple of the requirements mentioned.

  3. ☝🏼this. My guess is that the City will charge a comparable rate to other lots they own downtown. My hope is that they offer a higher percentage of handicap spots since this is the closest lot to the stadium.

  4. Wings ETC on N Glenstone is decent, not sure about delivery though

  5. Honestly, if you’re outside the STL area, just get MLB.tv or maybe extra innings if you have directv. Not worth the confusion/otherwise

  6. But that’s the problem, I’m 3 hours outside StL, but they consider that their local market. So MLB TV would still be blacked out for 1/2 the games. I guess I was just hoping that an alternate deal was getting worked out. I, like others, don’t think paying $90/month is worth it.

  7. About 6 hours in, a fellow employee notified the manager that they had hired a felon which had done his time in prison for child abuse. Somehow HR hadn’t done a thorough background check and they found that he had lied about it on his application.

  8. Just got my Stage 4 cancer scan results back and after 4 years and 4 different types of treatment, my tumors are finally shrinking!

  9. We have a large federal medical hospital prison in town. The complex sits in the middle of a couple hundred acres of land with a dome on the main building. Until I was around 7 or 8, I thought it was the White House.

  10. Shawshank Redemption - powerful acting, great story

  11. It was awesome. I’ve been a competitive baseball dad for the last 15 years for my 3 boys. This is my first summer without it. I miss it, but this boat is a pretty good replacement. Table Rock Lake in Southwest Missouri.

  12. Funny, I’m a hitting coach in Austin, tx. I work with a LOT of a dads & sons in their journey through baseball. We have a boat on a lake here, and I don’t miss coaching those select tournament games all weekend long. Any of your boys playing in college?

  13. No, they all got burned out before they finished high school. When they were young, I was head coaching 2 of their teams and assistant coaching the third. I think I had one night a week where we didn’t have baseball activities. Those were the days!

  14. Almost no one uses TNT(dynamite) for mining. It’s too fragile and can easily detonate. Most of us use a mixture of ammonium nitrate (fertilizer) & diesel fuel, commonly known as ANFO.

  15. For the mom at the end, “Takedown, ✌🏼points”

  16. I’m 28(M) at the time, managing a 360 acre quarry that has a couple of old houses that are abandoned. We had been having issues with homeless people in and out, drug paraphernalia around, paint cans from huffing. My boss decided they needed to be torn down to limit our liability, plus they had no value to the operation. I had scheduled a meeting with a demolition contractor at one of the houses & went a little early to do a walk through in the middle of a cloudy day. Only about 1,000 sf house, single level, with 2 bedrooms. Made the pass through the entire house with no issue. As I’m walking back to the front of the house I passed by one of the bedroom doors, glanced in and at that exact moment a guy swings open the closet door and literally jumps out at me and says “hey man, what you want”. I didn’t stick around to talk to him or question him, I GOT THE F OUT!

  17. Pretty good construction. Handrail has to be pretty square & level for that to happen.

  18. My cancer treatment is working and keeping my stage 4 kidney cancer from spreading to other parts of my body. It’s been this way for the last 16 months. It took a while to accept that “stable” is a good thing. I’m able to live life to the fullest!

  19. Not sure you can have just one in a blanket. It’s always been plural.

  20. Ain’t geology just really cool sometimes?
