We have looked frighteningly easy to play through since probably around the Killie game. Have an expectation that every time a team goes forward they’ll get a goal right now.
Teams who have the guts to attack us are always in with a chance. Our defence is weak and pretty ponderous and there’s always a mistake waiting to happen. We usually get away with it because we dominate possession but are always vulnerable on the counter attack. We have seen that in every recent game, especially since the last European game.
When you start Dessers , Goldson and barasic you know exactly how the game will end. Today was completely spineless from the lot of them. Butland included
Funny enough, I was chatting to my brother in law on Saturday and we were both saying that Goldson is definitely past his sell by date. Barasic and Tav were absolutely mince yesterday. Is it really so difficult for highly paid professional footballers to pass the ball to someone in the same colour shirt?
And that's what the purpose of these posts are for. One person stepping up is all that it takes for everyone else to. And it doesn't work every time, but maybe when everyone is at their limits, and enough mtx has been pushed down their throats for the last time, people will finally stand. And if that time isn't today, then so be it. But as long as people keep making posts like this every day, and more attention is brought to it, then nothing is impossible.
I don’t want to flame you mate because you are simply making points that many people have made before you. However, expecting people to “vote with their wallet” is naive thinking. The reality is that players make a huge emotional investment in R/S. The game is addictive and there is always a new goal to achieve. I returned last year after a nine year break and I am now as addicted as I ever was.
Flame me as much as you like, I understand what you mean. I respect your views on all this. I suppose there always will be people out there that end up purchasing things through mtx. But some day I would like to see change. I was addicted to this game too at one point but I never resorted to spending money on microtransactions. I just found the game fun enough as it was, working towards these things on my own accord instead of being boosted all the way to the top. I don't know if I will play again for a long time, but I hope to see less scenarios like the hero pass fiasco in the future.
I actually agree with you on most of the points you raise. The MTX is a joke but easy to avoid. I think it’s a shame how easy it is to level up since I came back to the game. I had 200m archaeology in about 6 weeks and it never felt like a grind. The Xp rates are ridiculous, and that’s without buying keys.
If you want to make real gp fletching use the accidental skilling stations on Anachronia. The fletching and firemaking xp is insane and dino arrows are great gp. I made over 160m grinding there for a day.
The vampire at the end of lord of vampyrium… i cannot boss to save myself, have maxed combat yet can’t get past the first phase. I really wish the quest armour could be used in the arena, or at least death touch darts…
The chronotes suggestion is a good one 👍 I seem to get more tomes and Rex fragments since 200m than I ever did when I was actually training 🤷♂️. At this point I would be happy to be able to toggle off receiving them because I hate having to destroy them.
Totally agree. I am really enjoying working out how to PVM and am still a long way from being decent at bossing. But I am definitely progressing. When I came back to the game after a 9 year break I just attempted to tank everything and got my ass handed to me 😂. I am finally working out how useful defence and strength abilities are at bosses. I’m not great but I’m having a ton of fun learning.

Really? Orange marches are being outlawed in Scotland as hate marches and you want them to have free reign across the entirety of Ireland? Containment will be the policy as it has been successfully trialled in the north since 1998 . Orange marches will be permitted where they're welcome and cause least disruption.
I live in Scotland, and I have heard no such thing. I do wonder why Orange Lodges continue to exist in Scotland and England ? Why do Rangers fans sing UVF songs and Celtic fans sing IRA songs when the vast majority of them have never set foot in Ireland?
Like many I get hacked off with all the TH updates rather than content. However, I suspect that a huge amount of resources went into the combat update, something pretty much everyone thinks is great.
I think last year’s CL performances were an aberration caused mostly by a very long list of injuries, especially in defence. Gio’s tactics didn’t help, we are much better when we attack teams rather than trying to contain them.
Superb result, shame the goals came the way they did though. Yilmaz and Silva the standouts, thought both were absolutely brilliant. No reason to fear them next week.
Diomande looks a real baller IMHO. Can’t wait to see him next season when he’s properly settled in. Sterling faded a bit in the second half but he really is becoming the perfect utility player. For the first time in a while I think the future is looking really bright. The difference big Phil has made is simply incredible.

1, I honestly just prefer EoC combat. I've got a decently made account in OSRS, but combat training in that game feels like such a slog

Why do you think OSRS has more updates? It has far more players. And because of more players it gets more updates in turn and so on...

Totally disagree, I think we played pretty well in both legs of the tie. We are just missing a little bit of quality up front at this level.
