What an awesome gift! My uncle once gave me his blue tag formula 1 when I was 13yo, I absolutely adored that watch and the clicky bezel. I unfortunately lost it one of the many times I had to move, but still cherrish the memories and share a deeper passion for watchmaking with said uncle
Consider that a watch is purely a luxury item with absolutely no functionally besides aesthetics and the love for the craft, which people who are not into watches will struggle to understand at first. Think about if you can really spend that much on a single item or if you'll actually need the money for things you actually need to buy

Definitely try to get a fountain bowl, additionally try and see if your cat likes to climb on the bathroom sink and you can open the tap very slightly so only a small stream of water is flowing. I have 3 cats and all 3 like to bath/drink the water while chilling out in the sink

You need some teammate budget to begin with. I could only hire a teammate after season 1
