Not to be rude, but you dont know how noise cancelling headphones work. They do nothing about kids screaming. At best they muffle it about as well as earplugs do.

I've unfortunately had the displeasure of sitting next to very smelly people and there's nothing much you can do about it. At least here there's an option. Also I have noise cancelling headphones that really cancel all the outside noise. I really recommend you buy one, not specifically for these situations, they are very useful in general.

Not exactly what you asked, but I think you would really enjoy Detroit Become Human. It's quite easy to get lost in its story and has a lot of sci fi elements. Besides, you can play it however you want without "losing" and it also has a lot of replayability value.

If you are bringing up VAR then you need to be aware that there was an offside right before that handball so Suarez wouldnt even have received the red card.

I honestly think with VAR now any type of handball will be considered as penalty. I’ve heard people talk about “bouncing” “ making themselves bigger” “ natural positions “ but I’ve rarely seen those rules put into place. Same thing happened in USA vs Mexico on the last penalty given. The ball was literally headed into his hand. the defender just has 0 time to move his hand away. The only time I’ve seen it implemented is when the player have there hands around their backs.

Tell that to Militao against Sevilla. Ball bounced from an attacker, he had his back to the play and didn't even see the ball coming and yet it was ruled as a pen. It only cost Real Madrid the league title, it's not like it was an important call or anything.

This reminded me of Mexico vs panama like 4 years ago. The player literally fell backwards on the ball and like his elbow touched it and it was considered a penalty. Man if your hand touched the ball it’s a penalty. And if the penalty helps out the Refs team indirectly then it’s a fucking penalty no doubt.

Yeah I remember that, that was an AWFUL call, probably the worst I've seen. I also love how Luis Omar Tapia calls it disgraceful. Man I miss hearing him for UCL matches on ESPN (I get Argentinian announcers for those matches)

You are absolutely right. I got to see Netherlands-Spain and Netherlands-Mexico in Brazil 2014 and Robben was absolutely amazing in both matches. I've never seen a faster player on the pitch, really unstoppable.

It would be a coup if someone outside the constitutional line of succession was to take the power. However, the new president will be the head of the senate (next in line after both the president and VP resigned), so I fail to see how you can call that a coup.

No, the constitutional court ruled that he could run. I'm not fond of the way he did it, but it was not illegal according to the constitutional court of Bolivia. The coup is already having nasty effects. There are reports of right wing groups attacking everyone from feminists to indigenous organizations. The families of politicians are being kidnapped in order to force them to resign. The right wing has claimed the "interim presidency" (after ousting all constitutionally legitimate successors) and said the indigenous people have no place in the government palace, and that Bolivia is a "Christian country". These people are not playing around.

This is false. There have been no kidnappings and the homes and offices of several opposing people have been burned down. And there's still no president, people are all waiting for the senate to accept the resignation and put the counstitutionally legitimate successor (Jeanine Añez) as the new president.
