Biomeeple

  1. The “Health Halo” on numerous health/diet products.

  2. Enjoy your new family member. Check for any ankle bands, it will identify if it was a possible pet in the past. Otherwise if you decide to keep, a medium size cage with a few different width perches and some wooden gnaw toys will be ideal. They love fresh greens and parakeet seed - for a starting diet. Work your way up to pellet-feed if desirable.

  3. I had this happen once I was in Singapore years ago via email. They wanted me to cover a 8 hr shift. My boss clearly didn't read the email entirely and told me to put gas in my car with the company Credit Card. Minus the 14hr flight back home. 🤨

  4. Wow, I’m sorry you had to be asked this. I wouldn’t have replied and tell your superior a firm no the next time you’re on shift.

  5. If you live in an apartment they blend in with outdoor birds assuming you have a large wild bird population outside. On a decibel app, my 4 budgies at full chatter - blend it with the human conversation decibel level to outdoor car in decibel reading. Budgies are less noisy than larger parrots and are more ideal in apartment settings.

  6. Yes this is norm in California. I wouldn't worry too much about it. The warning is literally on everything - even restaurant doors.

  7. No matter what you do, will never be enough. Ironically, talks from 50+ years ago society should be doing less work with the evolution of technology by today's standards. Funny how it's the complete opposite.

  8. Yup. Expanding more on a global scale and less hands to do the work. Sounds like the Titanic has struck the iceberg here.

  9. Will my wife still receive wifu-os updates after the 3 year mark or will I have to buy purchase a new robo-wife?

  10. Every time I want dazzle up my toon or pay for an item through a in-game item shop, I wish I could tip the CEO because dropping $70.00 + USD for deluxe tier/edition half-baked game plagued with bugs and continuous bad patch modifications from the development team is just not enough. 🙄 Shut up Blizzard and refund me my money for Diablo 4.

  11. No, they need to adapt to their new surroundings. Just vacuum and do chores as you normally would.

  12. Sorry Hun, your man is a moron. Do what you feel is right. If you decide to his terms, afterwards, drop his ass like a bad-habit and move on in life. No one likes or wants to take care of an immature man-child.

  13. I have two female budgies as well and know what you’re going through. (Proud budgie dad of 2 males and 2 females). Try to separate them much as possible when they’re acting up to give them space. You may need to invest into a larger habitat if they don’t mellow out within a week or so. If they start picking on each other, I put one into their travel carrier as a timeout until their jets cool a bit. Also, spending more time with the both of them will help too. Good luck.

  14. I’ve had this happen to me. You will need to spend more time with them. Also, put their habitat next to a window with natural light from the sun. Natural light works well. When not home, put a radio on low volume for them. It took mine about 4 weeks until they got back to normal.

  15. Welcome to the work force. I'd be lucky if I can retire by age 80 and I'm in my 40s now. I've figured this out long before I graduated college. My college degree is useless as well. Let me know if you find a solution of being working class and perma-broke all the time.

  16. Cancel the cheque. Instances such as this is the main reason why I don’t donate. It is questionable if any of my cash goes to tackle the actual cause of the charity with all of the charity’s overhead expenses and CEOs new yacht.

  17. I felt that I needed to chime in on this. I was or in the same boat as you. My deceased mother gave my sibling approximately $40k to help with his down payment on his house a few years ago with his “ready made family with several kids- just add boyfriend/fiancé”. I haven’t received much from family throughout the decades — and when I did, it consisted of worn secondhand garbage that was handed down to me or unwanted tangible inheritances worth little value. For the past 25 years my family has treated me like the black sheep and never invited me to family events, marriages, and even funerals. I’d like to say life gets better with limited family contact these days. Hang in there! I know what exactly what you’re going through. I’m still waiting for life to deal me a favorable hand.

  18. Oh my! Soooo adorable! Give it a few more weeks. I'm saying maybe leaning toward male at this point.

  19. It's a good introduction scope. I love my 60mm refractor and have blinged it out with better eye pieces and etc. Not all smaller aperture telescopes are hobby killers.

  20. Amazing... You'll find better work. I would of gone cray too. If he electronically sent the missing funds in matter of minutes why was your check not 100% present on payday? Employers fail to realize people are scraping by these days.

  21. Meade brand tend to be decent telescopes at the refractor budget level. This is a good starter scope or an excellent scope depending on the skill of the user.

  22. If it is not properly prepped for long term storage, years of negligence will do this to any telescope. If you’re just viewing the eclipse, the mirror in it current state should be sufficient with proper filters. My best longterm advice is to see if you can get a replacement mirror from the manufacturer. Otherwise, best to buy a new scope and properly store it.

  23. What a douche of a CEO. I would never post something like that to my staff. I like to keep in mind that karma is a big B!

  24. I'm a first wave of Millennial generation (born in 1982) in the USA. I've literally bust my arse off for the past 20 years trying to financially stay afloat and it has absolutely got me knowhere in my career. Now I'm a bit wiser with my work output per hourly wage. Last several years have been lay off upon layoff , and cost of living spikes against no raises. I've did everything I was conditioned to do in my youth ie graduate college with a useless degree, be a good stable employee giving 110% of my time, covering shifts as needed, and anywhere from 2 to 10+ years seniority on any job site. I can barely afford my rent and health insurance these days. I have nothing saved for retirement due my decision to pay off college bills and medical debt first before trying to save for retirement. I'm debt free now but with nothing saved and seriously just one bad day from homelessness.
