Hello I’m pretty new to firearm stuff but my two cents are : do you have to liquidate all firearms and ammo? Is it possible you can still sell a minor amount of firearms and maybe some of the more common calibers such as 9mm for the sake of not losing all of that side of your customer base? In any case I’m glad you guys exist!

Do not shoot a slug without a choke in, it will fuck up your threads. Just don’t shoot slugs out of a full choke.

Ruger Security 380 (I think) has a decent reputation for home defense. Don’t think it’ll be ideal for wolves though

I've got a light/laser combo on my handgun. I have a rather unique vision situation that limits my ability to view sights and target simultaneously, especially at night. The light and laser combo allow me to identify a target and see where the bullet would go if I needed to pull the trigger.

I have insanely bad myopia so I wonder if this is the way to go for me too. Thanks!

I feel like I avoid confrontation much more than usual when I'm carrying, esp on the road, I don't honk at idiot drivers as much as I'd use to, less inclined to get involved with anything that could result in conflict.

Welcome. A lot of this comes down to personal preference, the only thing that doesn't, is cost of ammo, and getting proficient takes a lot of ammo.

I’m a big fan of 1911 so maybe if I stick with this I’ll eventually move into them. I do agree I’d want full steel if I did this regularly. Thanks!

Yea Lou might’ve been earnest sometimes, or he might’ve been a nefarious actor. I haven’t really thought of him in nearly 2 years because we had to forget and move on as investors. I can appreciate the jokes and the fact that he did help dig up some info that I was otherwise too lazy to find for myself at the time. Pay your respects if you feel like it and move on once again. I have a Longsword, and I’m not sure it’s the right pedal for me. It’s an amazing but it’s complicated to set and I think I want more nasty distortion. The Model Fet seems more for me, but I can’t justify selling a Longsword to change. I just have to go with it.

Well I think you can justify it. It sucks to have too many pedals sitting around. It starts feeling like lost money after a while. If you really think the Longsword won’t do you justice then it’s perfectly all right to sell it to fund the next pedal (unless you like to be a collector)

I don't own the Fable, but have the Lore, they're similar in many ways. I'm pretty much certain you won't get a regular delay out of it. It's a niche pedal. A fantastic one though. I've been contemplating it for a year now.

Lichtlaerm Audio Untiefe & Transcendence, I have their noise gate and the Untiefe, very high end looking and sounding. Could also look the Keely Caverns (black version), KMA Audio Machines Cirrus, JPTR FX Fernweh (I have no experience with this brand but seems kinda doom oriented), Death By Audio probably has a few things that would fit the bill. Oh, I've tried a few reverb/delays from Maneco Labs, the Grone and the 4AD, very ominous sounding effects from that builder.

Don’t listen to the haters. I know someone with 8 drive pedals in their board. That being said, it only compliments them even more to have at least one delay pedal, maybe even some kind of modulation
