Suspects in the murder of the President of Haiti have been detained

Haitian police have detained 11 suspects in the assassination of President Jovenel Moise on the territory of the Taiwan representative office in Port-au-Prince. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the representative office.
On the morning of Thursday, July 8, the staff of the mission received information that the Haitian police need to enter the territory of the diplomatic mission to pursue suspects in the assassination of the president. The staff of the representative office agreed, the Haitian police took the suspects away.

Who is involved in the murder?
Most of the members of the group that killed the president turned out to be retired Colombian military personnel. According to Colombian Defense Minister Diego Molano Aponte, Interpol has officially requested information from the Colombian government and the National Police about the alleged perpetrators of this crime. The Minister ordered the Colombian police and army to provide immediate assistance to the Haitian Government in the investigation.

The chief of the national police, Leon Charles, also claims that the group consisted of 28 people, 26 of them were citizens of Colombia, two more members of the group were natives of Haiti. He also stated that the number of eliminated mercenaries had increased to seven. Also among the liquidated criminals were three foreigners.
