  1. If you would pick her up by 4-6PM she can probably reserve study rooms at the library to guarantee a spot to sit in. It'd be good to note that a lot of the common study spaces (cafes, libraries, etc) start to empty out by around then so she probably won't have issues finding a place to camp out.

  2. Data Science is a somewhat new program at UCR which probably explains why you couldn't find much data on career outcomes

  3. Just make sure you take the basic pre-req courses in the time where you aren't officially in your new major yet.

  4. I don't really have an anecdote but my first instinct would be to look for spots in IE with higher household incomes and then check for healthcare resources there vs places with lower household incomes.

  5. I usually don't leave until I have at least something done and then if I get anything done at home it's a bonus

  6. You can just switch once you get here probably but if you can't make up your mind it wouldnt be unheard of to do a double major in business + psyc

  7. you should see them today or tmr iirc

  8. Yes, it shouldn't be too hard to switch. Just make sure to take the pre-req classes (Notably PSYC002, PSYC001, PSYC011, PSYC012)

  9. There's a campus escort service and blue boxes but I don't think the blue box density is as high as what ASU claims?

  10. Certain spots in Lot 62 can be paid for by the day (iirc it's like 2$ per day) even if you can't get a UCR parking permit. It's a little far from campus though (around StoneHaven area)

  11. I just do a review the day before and assuming I've been...relatively on the ball over the quarter that's usually enough

  12. I think part of the problem is just that some programs probably benefit from the longer semesters (EX: I'd imagine majors full of series like BIOL would benefit since they need to spend a lot more time on similar topics anyway) but then other majors with less series required would just end up finding ways to burn a few weeks.

  13. ucr has a math wiki that you can use to look at some practice problems; not sure what they got for 9b but you can prob at least review 9a

  14. Not sure what the technical explanation is but yeah sometimes you just get these "clusters" of the same spread

  15. If you're worried, google "[your target major] worksheet ucr" and it'll give you a good outline of all the classes you need to graduate. You might need to take 4 classes at some points because of how class availability shakes out or units but a 4 year graduation is probably still possible, especially if your current and target major have some overlap.

  16. Runick Bystial isn't a bad option IMO; It might be a little pricey (Quems, Chaos Angel, and Dis Pater being notable cost contributors) but it should work well enough.

  17. As long as you've checked the ones that already have their stuff up you'll be fine. Welcome to UCR!

  18. I just took STAT107 this Fall. I had next to no programming experience before hand (tried to learn r on my own over summer but it didn't go well) and still got an A in the class. Definitely takes time but if you have programming experience I'd imagine you'll probably do fine w/o struggling too much.

  19. Salamangreat/Branded Despia w/o new support are p good for their cost, esp if you're just playing with friends. There's also Traptrix and Dark World. Basically if there was a structure deck for it it'll probably be reasonably priced.

  20. Need at least 1 more week of break D:

  21. I think the best move is to test on MD/DB to see if you want to play the game still and then if you do, you pick up the cheaper staples from Rarity Collection and recent sets. A lot of decks are really expensive right now due to a new engine (WANTED/Sinful) and a new extra deck staple (SP Little Knight) which combined can easily cost over $600 before any other purchases. This is also before accounting for relatively less expensive cards like Accesscode Talker ($40) or Kashtira Fenrir ($25) which may also be run in your deck of choice.

  22. It's hard but studying ahead for it probably won't be necessary. If i had to pick smth thatd be good to review though, I'd say brain components or maybe the basic neurotransmitters

  23. PHYS006 and GEO004 are borderline cakewalks. Haven't taken PSYC002 but based on the other PSYC classes I took I don't think you have much to worry about. Just make sure to do the SONA thingy if they still require that.

  24. iirc PSYC001 and PSYC002 require you to participate in ongoing study (or do an alternative assignment) in order to get credit for the class. The platform you use to sign up for studies/submit the alternatives is SONA

  25. PSYC175 is cool if youre semi interested in the legal system
