  1. Pelvic floor PT will help all that! Have you been checked for endometriosis?

  2. I was in pelvic floor PT for about 9 months. No but my pelvic floor therapist did wonder if I had endo. I don't have painful periods though. Sure I have cramps like everyone else but they are not miserable, pretty tolerable. My periods are just heavy and irregular. Also deal with hot flashes and some other common period symptoms.

  3. They can only see it through laparoscopic surgery. My dr told me “endo has no rules” so you can have no symptoms and a lot of endo or a lot of symptoms and minimal endo.

  4. Hmm interesting. I never asked about endo because I was afraid the way to diagnose was to stick more things up my vagina which frightened me. Maybe I will bring this up the next time I am at the doctors. I honestly do not know much about it.

  5. Your NP actually gave you an effective tool to help. A lot of doctors or nurses will just tell you to drink some wine and relax. So I'd say you are off to a great start!

  6. Vaginismus is when the vaginal muscles tighten up causing pain, and something you have no control of. Vulvodynia is pain specifically around the area of the opening of the vagina.

  7. I think I would have to call my pediatric office for the ones when I was first born. I'm not sure which vaccines I need so I'm trying to get copies of everything from the time I was born to now.

  8. hmm, true! I did not think of that.

  9. I wanted to get married. So, if I was dating someone I didn’t want to marry, than I would only be dating them for heart break. I was trying to save myself as much heartbreak as I could.

  10. Do you happen to know if he does get fired, if he would still have access to the disability benefits?

  11. Absolutely, it sounds like he would qualify for short term disability for 6 months and then he would need to switch to long term after that.

  12. I can’t remember a time Callie’s hair wasn’t black.

  13. I don’t let NKs answer the door when someone knocks or rings the doorbell.

  14. Two things I did when I go to outings, especially in big places like the zoo.

  15. Ah, what a great idea!! I could definitely do that with two of the kids. One of them has some pretty intense sensory issues and hates the way bandaids feel on her. But wondering if I could stick the bandaid to her shirt or something?

  16. Yeah!! Make sure it's like an adult Band-Aid with a good amount of stickiness but it should totally stick to clothing. Maybe even the inside hem if you're worried about your phone number being out there visible for everyone to see (like I was)

  17. I worked in a public school system and they rely WAY too much on tablets and screen time.

  18. There's no need to drop hundreds of dollars on tablets. If your children have been able to manage a simple game on your phone they'll get the gist. It's just like a larger phone.

  19. Any particular ones you like best?

  20. I personally wouldn’t really like that all that much… but I mean shoot. Maybe they did?

  21. Are you using disposable pads or cloth/reusable ones? Cloth pads usually hold more and hold better than disposables.

  22. I use reusable cloth period underwear! I take them off, rinse all the blood out, throw them in the wash on cold, and let them air dry! I usually use disposable pads on my light days.

  23. I had to change heavy flow pads every hour for like first 3-4 days then every 3hours the rest which was like 2-3weeks long periods. I cannot imagine life without hormonal treatment. But changing every hour or two helps a lot not to leek through 😅 I would often wear night ones during the day

  24. I definitely need to change every hour I believe. I’m so thankful to work a job now where I can do that. Just nervous about any future job that may not be as accommodating. I’m a bit spoiled to the job I have now.

  25. I honestly really love Trisha Paytas’s baby’s name Malibu. I don’t personally love Malibu Barbie. But Malibu is so cute in my opinion :)

  26. I’m gonna need an update after you guys speak to the housekeeper.

  27. Lucy. According to my mom. I love the name Lucille and would love to name my future daughter that. But my mom thinks Lucy is a pet name.

  28. The petstores should have a groomers section who will trim nails. Walking your dog daily will help a bit too (especially if you're on a road or side walk)

  29. Yes! We walk him daily and it does help a bit but I notice they are still pretty long

  30. I go to my local groomer. She does it as you wait so there’s no separation anxiety problems. She charges $7 and I give her $10. I think tipping helps to always getting me in.

  31. I try and keep them entertained with activities where they can still sit and rest. We definitely watch a movie, but we also color, play with play doh, play with busy binders on our bed, etc.

  32. I don’t, but my Dad does. It’s safer. It’s harder to see motorcycles on the road versus a car. So having your bike be loud kind of helps people know to look out for a motorcycle.

  33. The best advice for you that I can give regarding dilators is take things slow. There is no timeline for when you need to accomplish each dilator. When you go to use the dilator, just get used to the dilator being near your body at first. Maybe just start by touching the dilator to your skin. Once you feel like you have mastered that, and that it does not give you anxiety, that's when you can start moving forward and just applying a little pressure to the skin. Once you master the pressure, than maybe move it around a little, and then try inserting the tip. Do not rush yourself. And know that you are 100% in control of that dilator. That dilator is not going in without your permission and your control. Just take things as slow as you need to. I was feeling really anxious about the dilators. I took one look and was really intimated. It helped me a lot to just take the dilator and just simply touch the skin all around. I didn't insert the dilator for a long time because I wanted to be comfortable doing that. I got used to the dilator and learned that it's here to help me and that I am 100% in control.
