I still doubt him and would be happy to eat my words but it's still early days. We are finally seeing something from the young kids and the young kids are bringing energy to the old boys. However, this won't last. We all know where the Eagles were at only weeks ago.

Honestly, it's too early to tell. I think the 3 games we have been competitive in over the last 3 weeks is more a statement on the other teams. Sure the Eagles have found some form but I am really interested to see how we compete against a hungry Gold Coast with a seasoned experienced coach.

My only concern with a kid like this that has this much talent is his ability to improve. It's great he is as good as he is right now but don't let it go to your head. The greats continue to push themselves, they never settle, and always want to learn more. I hope he has a good/strong mentor.

If they didn't want him leaving he is still contracted with one fight remaining. Yet he has two fights remaining? The UFC are never ones to turn down making easy money. A Conor MacGregor headline PPV will still sell well and make them good $. After they do that one fight he is still contracted to them and can't fight for other promotions.
