It's paint. I also suggested using a wrap but they went with paint only. Modifications included Black PPF on the roof, All Alloys paint, Brake Calipers paint and the grill mod. Overall it cost 19k. The AC works fine when the temperature is low.

You should be fine as your 16" alloys would have enough side wall width to cushion the bump. However I would advise you to have the trye checked out at a shop to eliminate any doubt. Also in future use high beam for unlit roads. This incident could have been avoided imo.

Those old cars are not safe. They don't even have ABS in them. Try to buy the cars manufactured after 2016-17 so you will at least get basic safety features and since you will have a baby on board, safety is mandatory.

Some models will have ABS but you will have to check. ABS was not mandatory at the time so a lot of cars came without it.
