This game based more on exploration and not as much grinding but adventure in traveling. You can just play the story quests to finish the game, but this game probably wants to go off the beaten path.
Mines was something around 125 before the required boss drops. Boss drops netted plenty and still have leftovers for the second run. I maxed out armor upgrades and also bought and maxed out 2 dragon weapons for me and my pawn.
It's more like sleep turns are limited. As long as you have lots of allheals, fake portcrytals or wakestones to bring you back to full HP, you're good to continue roaming.
Remember, you also have magic books too. It takes going into the menu to cast but worst comes to worst, magic books are the way to go. You also get them in abundance so use em away.
Elf quests was supposed to be triggered by interacting with the elf archer in Vernworth by the weapon shop, and is designed to introduce the Ogre to you. The big bad monster kidnapping a damsel in distressed. Except, you're about 80 hours in and finally talked to the elf and trigger his quest line to eventually just save the girl in 30 seconds from the ogre...
Save the colored runners and mix it with Tamiya cement to create a plastic goo. Let it sit until it turns into goo then apply a couple dabs on to spot, sand and finish it with Gunprimer's various sanding sticks and finishers.
I triggered the quest and proceed to forget that I'm doing it. Wait for bit in the early hours to nothing. Look up guide, and made him a permanent homeless dude.

I'm only about 80 hours in but I heard that there's no Ur Dragon equivalent in DD2. A DLC with something similar would be cool.

As someone who's getting a P-10 next, it's looking very sexy.
I would buy it on PS5 if I have a PS+ active but otherwise, Steam. Online on PC beats getting worthless rented games on PS+.
