  1. Pretty sure the Jews left India after British Decolonisation not only because the State of Israel is created but also to avoid persecution by the Hindus

  2. Idc what the mods said, saying a sword bearer a Samurai is like calling a squire a knight.

  3. Meanwhile Fallout show: you're my slave! You only speak to me when i speak to you! Clean my cod piece! Fuck you?

  4. See, i don't get these hardline christians. Like, i have some super religious muslim friends who acknowledge the existence of dinosaurs and that the earth is over 4 billions years old. And we're the one that they called extremists

  5. And yasuke isn't even a samurai, he's a personal servant of Oda Nobunaga... Like a squire or lady-in-waiting for the western counterparts

  6. My interpretation of the balkan countries are those between the Adriatic sea and the Danube river

  7. Hmm, nah... Spanish-American War is probably more fitting, since it's the first time where steam engine are heavily used for logistics and assault (ships, trains) due to the area involved in the war, the battles weren't line infantry shooting and reloading, and cavalry was more than just flanking during battle (they also do recon and stuff).

  8. Interestingly, Utah matches a lot of geological elements with the Middle East. In Palestine and Utah Valley, they both have a hypersaline lake (The Dead Sea/The Great Salt Lake), with a smaller lake (Sea of Galilee/Utah Lake) that is connected by a river called "Jordan." (Though, the early pioneers likely saw the similarities and named it after the one in Palestine). Not to mention both being a dry, arid climate with very mountainous terrain.

  9. Boudica might not even real... Boudica means victory in Icenic language, and when the Roman arrived in Londonium they heard the Iceni chanting it, and so it was recorded that they're chanting their leader's name since that's what the Romans do and since name ending with -a is a female name in Latin, they assumed it's a queen

  10. Okay, but followed by... KENYAN SHILLING? Wtf are they doing in Kenya bruv?

  11. It's cool and all with the Zoroastrian symbolism, it being the root of Persia for millenias, but with Iranian being a very proud (shia) muslim people, like even back in the Shah's day, i think more islamic symbolism should also be in there.

  12. Iranians don’t really classify as proud Shia Muslims anymore, almost the entire populace has finally put love of fatherland over faith of religion because of how incredibly incompetent the Islamic Republic is, 75% of mosques have been shut down because people mostly don’t care about Islam anymore. Plus barely a third of the population are actually Shia, with there being more Zoroastrians and Atheists than Sunnis,

  13. You're probably right, my perspective is from a (Sunni) tourist perspective. Of course, after the whole beating a girl to death most people don't trust them anymore now. But yeah, i feel like putting an emphasis on the Zoroastrian symbolism in the flag is a bit out of place, considering that there are more Christians than Zoroastrians, yes it's the original faith of the land, but like Greece or Italy doesn't have Staff of Zeus in their flag. If it's more of a secular state, then the lion and lioness should be the only symbol in the flag (no sword, no sun, etc.)

  14. Change the cringe AR-15 with the chad Kentucky Rifle! Just like the Founding Fathers intended

  15. Boots of Blinding Speed! Can't stand how slow the game is without it
