  1. Idk, but I'll say that everyone I see that uses it claims it has the most power, and I believe that are saying that because they were told that. I play with a 20 year old stick, and when I tried the 2022 pure drive, I couldn't hit a more powerful shot than from the stick I use.

  2. I agree the power claim is more marketing.. I love it because it has such a huge sweet spot, it almost feels like cheating.

  3. Short rib tacos and margaritas from the Puesto stand at Petco Park šŸ˜€

  4. Some power yoga classes are not heated at Yoga Six Carlsbad. I can never figure out how to tell, I think itā€™s based on which room itā€™s in.

  5. Quick update - got the NB Coco shoes. Theyā€™re impressive in terms of quality. (The insole feels more like one you would purchase seperately). There was a long break in period as the mid tops rubbed the top of my feet and itā€™s an expensive shoe but Iā€™m really loving it now. It feels like it is going to be effective in preventing future sprains (fingers crossed). Thanks for all the help.

  6. Lots of good advice here. One more thing: have you considered that it might be a movement issue? Is there a pattern for when it happens? Are you trying to slide on hard courts? Split step late? I can't tell, of course, but your movement is probably consistent across these injuries. It might (might!) contribute.

  7. Yes it always happens during a reaching/running open stance forehand. I did grow up playing on clay so perhaps a habit of trying to slide.

  8. Iā€™m late 40s and perhaps playing some of the best tennis of my life (former D1 full scholarship player) so Iā€™m just grateful that my body is allowing me to still play at the high level, Iā€™m grateful for the friendships Iā€™ve made, living in an area that has active leagues and tournaments, that I can play with my kids and theyā€™re proud of me when they watch me play. Iā€™m very competitive and get a high from the wins but I really donā€™t dwell on the losses too much, it is what it is, there will always be another match. (Unless itā€™s one I had a match point, I dwell on those for eternity šŸ˜‚). I feel lucky to have this sport to balance other parts of my life.

  9. Not a great option as our treadmill is in a spot where there are storage shelves in front of it.

  10. The reason I ask: a touch screen on a treadmill adds a lot to the cost and introduces a failure point that is expensive to fix.

  11. Thatā€™s a good point about failure point

  12. We were there last week and did not find any good spots for snow play. Most of the snow is on the trails/high elevation or icy/packed and dirty.

  13. Thanks for the info. Did you try going up to the summit or did you stay near the lodge and lower elevation areas?

  14. We actually went skiing one day but we didnā€™t go up to the summit on the gondola. Itā€™ll be fun to do if you havenā€™t been. We stayed near the village and went hiking mostly.

  15. We did McGee creek and it was great.

  16. My husband and kids went skiing yesterday and loved it. Just get out there early.

  17. Thank you, a gift from my mom

  18. I have not been able to do any tread bootcamps since Danielā€™s departure. I just want to ā€œsend itā€ again šŸ„² Plus my preferred length is 45 mins and there are no longer any 45 min bootcamps except Adrianā€™s Thunder 45 and Iā€™m not a big fan of those. Just wanted to see if there are any recommendations for classes similar to Danielā€™s where the strength moves were challenging but more straightforward and emphasis on heavy weights.

  19. I do cycling workouts regularly. To me If I go super hard on a ride, then Iā€™m famished and itā€™s hard for me to control my eating. So I do more low impact/ longer rides vs. hiit type of stuff when Iā€™m trying to lose weight. Also strength and other stuff on top of that.

  20. I weighed myself today after a week long Thanksgiving trip. I was so sure i blew it because at one point I decided to just enjoy myself vs. worrying about the diet. My familyā€™s love language is food and there were huge dinners, desert every night, lots of wine. I tried to offset it by eating light breakfast and lunches, going for runs and walking everywhere as much as possible, did yoga in the hotel room. I was so happy to see I have maintained my pre-trip weight. I donā€™t know how itā€™s possible as I mustā€™ve eaten 2500+ calories a day but very happy with the results.

  21. Puesto short rib tacos and margarita is my reco. Cardiff crack nachos are good also but the tacos are life changing.

  22. This is true.. my son whoā€™s allergic to hazelnuts can eat Nutella. I think thereā€™s very little amount.

  23. Iā€™m in the same boat. Have been trying for a year to lose 5 lbs. I know itā€™s not nearly the same task as trying to lose tens or hundreds of lbs but to me itā€™s been a frustrating struggle. I think some people who have so much more to lose maybe canā€™t relate to it and choose to be unhelpful. I carry all my weight In the middle so to me 5 lbs feels like a lot, plus Iā€™ve been told belly fat can lead to health problems. So you do what you need to do. Good luck, the advice on this sub has really helped me with some tips. I have been trying to cut carbs and sugar but what actually worked has been just reducing overall calories. I also had to cut back on high intensity workouts as they make me way too hungry. Good luck.

  24. Potatoes. They donā€™t deserve to be demonized the way they are.

  25. Totally agree. My grandparents ate a boiled potato with every meal and lived into high 90s

  26. Well, not for breakfast but for lunch and dinner

  27. I usually count for about a week and that basically makes me realize how much Iā€™m eating without even thinking or calories from certain foods that are just not worth it. That mindset and habits usually lasts good few months where I donā€™t count. If I gain a couple lbs, Iā€™ll then start again to get back on track.
