  1. Where I live it’s pretty much guaranteed to be unsafe. We even have bus drivers rallying together because they don’t feel safe with the amount of violence they experience. Not every transit ride is unsafe, but there’s a chance because so many are.

  2. Do you have a good place to make a frog hotel? I saw they are encouraging people to do that

  3. Chopping down all the trees and running metal pipes through the ground and covering a good chunk of the area in asphalt and concrete likely has more impact than somebody putting a couple dishes with water in them in their yard.

  4. Sure and bulldozing a forrest and building a mall is worse than planting invasive plants but you still shouldn’t do it. Reddit sure loves their strawmans

  5. Wouldn't know. I worked in the hospital morgue for the whole lockdown. I hoped not to catch the incurable blood clotting disease that killed many of my clients for $19/hr. I was called a hero and an essential worker while I couldn't afford to buy a house.

  6. All these people commenting “tiGeR KiNg aNd TP loL iT wAs sO fUn!!!” Have absolutely no idea how good they had it.

  7. Ugh. I have family friends that cut down a similar large beautiful tree in their yard because they “don’t like all the leaves in fall”

  8. I’m wondering this as well, were you ever able to find out??

  9. I’ve seen my aldi do this a few times with refrigerated items like tortellini and the calzones. Always scares me.

  10. Is it really about the crime on the subways or are they just afraid of seeing a homeless person? Crime on public transit is a legitimate concern that should be addressed but it seems like the PERCEPTION of crime on transit often boils down to “I am seeing someone who is different from me and it’s scary”

  11. Everyone i know in Atlanta, GA is terrified of the subway and insist it’s full of crime but i swear they’re just afraid of seeing homeless people because i’ve never had a problem

  12. I’m a huge sushi fan, worked in a sushi restaurant for a while and studied abroad in japan for a bit. I’m by no means an expert, but the people who prepare raw fish for sushi are VERY careful about where they source their fish, how old it is, how it’s stored, prepared, etc. i love aldi but i wouldn’t trust it. You have no idea how long that sat on a truck or if you’re preparing it raw in a safe way with no experience. I would do what someone else suggested and sear it to be safe.

  13. I don’t even let myself look at that section, too dangerous 😅 i’ve already fallen victim to the famous peanut butter cups every other trip

  14. Dude, it never fails to have boomers literally stop in the middle of a shopping isle and just stand there like wtf.

  15. I call it “lead paint stare” they just stop and stare into nothing for like 10 minutes

  16. Yep! I only buy what my dermatologist says i need bottom line

  17. I normally pan mine but I am going to try it in the air fryer next.

  18. I love to steam it in parchment paper in a pot on the stove with lemon slices and white wine. It’s to die for! Air fryer is lovely too for a nice crust

  19. So maybe this is my Jersey snobbery coming out but why would assume they wouldn’t be terrible? They’re a supermarket chain bagel, they don’t bake in-house.

  20. I live in the south and these are as good as it gets here tbh. Real bagels are amazing but they’re just nonexistent here and i think this is the only bagel experience a lot of people have ever had

  21. Half and half, the signature Italian bread, cheese pierogi, pistachios, raisins, cheese sticks/blocks, yeast, salad dressings. That’s more than 5.

  22. I love the mrs. T pierogi dupes and they’re so hard to find in any other grocery stores in the south

  23. Has anyone else tried the kitchen sink cookies in the bakery? Because I buy 2 boxes every time I go. I sometimes dream about them.

  24. These are a fan favorite when i bring them into my office!

  25. Because it makes zero sense. Why would a group of men who are aiming to commit a crime in a bathroom bother to pretend to be trans to get in there? Why would they need to? There are no guards posted at women's restrooms, if a man wants to go in and assault someone nothing is stopping him.

  26. I’m not referring to transgender folks??? I’m referring to the fact that any woman (cis, trans, or otherwise) would feel in danger if they were in a bathroom with a bunch straight cis men. I’m not worried about getting trans people i’m worried about men assaulting or attacking women, dude. The main comment i replied to was talking about making all stall restrooms all gender. Read.

  27. ok but what does that have to do with the OP's post? your getting down voted because that's completely irrelevant the the topic at hand and on top of that there's no real solution to straight guys going into womans restrooms to assault people. Restrooms are public places man. They don't have guards posted out front.

  28. Because that’s how reddit works this thread is talking about a specific proposed solution??? Go be angry at people that are actually transphobic

  29. I love this one for french toast and bread pudding too!

  30. Very weird and alarming, but what does this have to do with heterosexuality?

  31. I grew up in a pretty redneck family and got a similar gift as a kid and i’m a cis woman. Not a straight people thing. Still fucked tho and i don’t talk to them anymore.

  32. This isn’t really what this sub is for but like this is so cute i’m upvoting anyway i love that

  33. Does she just like them because they're orange? Because it's just orange colored white chocolate, not orange flavor, so the white chocolate ones are the same thing.

  34. Worth noting that the orange ones are different from the pumpkin pie flavored ones. Check an asian grocery store too, they tend to have other similar kitkat flavors not readily found in regular us supermarkets!

  35. Friends of mine literally did this and made a nearly identical post on facebook unironically. It killed me

  36. Man, can you imagine the stokedness of getting adopted by your best friend's family??

  37. I had a messy family life growing up and when i was around 16 my best friend’s family adopted me and it basically felt like this haha. We still bickered sometimes but we’re super close. I’m thankful that I get to spend christmas and every other holiday/major life event with my bestfriend/sister.

  38. Sorry. But I think this is a stupid form of protest and does little to advance the cause of Prochoice. I consider it to be a very limp reason for availing yourself of the HOV lane.
