I don't know anything about the purpose or efficacy of IR light treatment, but I am fairly certain that UV is the wavelength of light that causes autoimmune problems and that IR is on the other end of the spectrum.
I can relate! My old doc always called it "Rupus". Long story short, I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 2, had it my whole life. Went into remission for about 10 years ages 18-27. Am 37 now. This illness is a roller coaster. I try not to get too high in the highs or too low in the lows. My advice for what it's worth:
Why do you eat medicines are your CRP high?
No my CRP and ACCP never became high and positive.
I went to three Rheumatologists at the time of diagnosis they all recommended me HCQ twice a day initially. That was last year Dec.
Admire your courage , good sprit and positive thinking. I am of no help to you as I too got diagnosed recently.
Yes I have experienced this on my face, many more years ago before getting diagnosed with MCTD.

Thank you very much for explanation and care.
