  1. Nothing is over-engineered anymore. Things are made to exact load spec etc. based on complex software material analysis, which wasn't possible, or feasible, when they made our grand parents' machines.

  2. It's literally the opposite here in the United States. Manual cars are the more expensive options in the used market and the automatics are the cheap s*** that no one wants

  3. That's because a manual transmission in the US counts as a theft prevention device.

  4. My step-great-uncle was in a bike gang when he was younger. He used to bake brownies, cookies, and muffins for his fellow “gang” members

  5. Most biker "gangs" are just clubs for people who like to ride and the company of likeminded peers.

  6. I think it's just because the closer they get to the ground, the weaker the radio signal becomes. You see this with the flying drones' FPV videos where the feed typically cuts out before impact when the drone goes low.

  7. You get the most endmill for your money with 1/2" and 12mm mills.

  8. There's always another part that needs programming / setup. I'm literally never idle.

  9. Bare sådan så der ikke er så meget blod i koffeinomløbet.

  10. Cops and politicians consistently get away with things that would get anyone else fired in an instant.

  11. I think living as adults we forget just how small childrens' bodies are and how little energy it takes for them to just go flying compared to ours.

  12. And how comparatively little they have to dissipate when landing. I've seen kids do some insane flops and totally eat shit, like what would break several bones in an adult body, just to get up and continue playing.

  13. Here ya go Donquixote Doflamingo (the laughing and name parts for comparison)

  14. I find it an almost endless source of amusement how manga/anime creators invent characters with names that are super difficult to impossible to pronounce in Japanese.

  15. has there been instruction given on this slot? all other slots are given as different widths and none are typ.

  16. We are, but we have to make the CAD model ourselves from the drawing, which is the only instructional document given.

  17. I've heard many say the best quality of steel in the world is was made in Britain in the first part of the 20th century. Germany a close second, Swedish and US steel tied for third.

  18. Won't the Air Force have something to say about this? I mean they spend a lot of time and money to train a dude and some hot headed civilian LEO erroneously kills their employee?

  19. If they're decent holders you won't have any. They're monolithic and the only moving part is the screw. Compare to an ER collet where you have like three interfaces that can lead to runout. Also you need good collets and to not torque them too much.

  20. She was the female voice on GTA 5 for the radio show called Chakra Attack. Some of the funniest writing imo. Some people probably know her from that.

  21. 140x200 box med 80mm top. To 90x200 lette dyner. En på langs, en på tværs :P

  22. Could also try to define the tool as having no corner bevel. Some dynamic cycles will account for the corner bevel and try to make it do chamfers and such.

  23. Im sorry, Φ(fi) is the simbol for diameter, yeah thats the only way for me but there will be allot of vibration and the surface is polish spec... Anyway is friday and im going home now:D

  24. I'm not super up on the meta and they have recently had some changes but in my experience they are useful on garrison divisions but useless on combat divisions. I usually just put one on whatever cavalry (horse) division I have at the start, make that my default garrison division then forget about them.

  25. They're only useful on large garrison divisions. Up until a certain size, say, 30 width, it's more effective to just add more infantry regiments.

  26. We know they’re not including DPR guys in the numbers. Most of the dead are DPR and prison conscripts to this point. But I would say even Russian regular military is at about 200k now with totals closer to 500k if you add all irregular forces

  27. Probably also not counting Wagner and other PMC's casualties.

  28. Why did it try to pick up a part from the spindle with no part in it?
