  1. Lyrica is the only thing other than lidocaine that helps my phn, it helped when gabapentin, antidepressants, opioids and nsaids didn't touch it. Unfortunately it does build up a tolerance. I've been on the max dose for a while now and it's been slowly losing effectiveness, and now I'm back at the point where I often can't walk or even sit up for extended periods of time, and doctors are saying there's nothing more they can do for me

  2. yeah. my doctors just keep giving me nerve block injections that don’t do anything at all. pretty much refuse to do anything else at this point. opioids do nothing for me and i’m already on a cocktail of psych meds bc i have bipolar so they couldn’t try any of the antidepressants for it. i’m basically destroying my kidneys and stomach from all the ibuprofen i take. ugh. it sucks. i’m lucky that i’m still able to live a normal life but it’s like because i look and live normally, the pain must not rly be that bad but… the end of the day is awful. i can’t move from my bed

  3. Im curious to. Im on lyrica. My RA suggested it and I was nervous because at the tail end of 6 weeks on gabapentin I suddenly broke out in a head to toe rash. It might have been an additive that particular pharma used but usually that would have shown up in the first two weeks. The ER seemed to believe it was a genuine allergic reaction.

  4. interesting. i’ve had allergic reactions to other medications like that too, even after being on it for a bit. i think i might give lyrica a shot

  5. I looked at Colt Run apartments many, many years ago but remember really liking them. Some had attached garages. Lakewood Park apartments were also pretty nice.

  6. colts run is great. we pay about $1600 for 2bed 2 bath. super safe area and we have a garage

  7. I was in a similar position... then I discovered amigurumis and went all crazy about them 😆

  8. true, ive made a lot of cows and frogs. they’re quick and easy but idk. i don’t love making the cute stuff for some readon

  9. Maybe make a light warm weather top? Or something small and useful. I made a tea cozy that makes me happy whenever I look at it. Also, you could trade off to another craft or art for something creative to do.

  10. i tried last year to make a lil summer-y top but i unfortunately have big boobs. i really can’t figure out how to accommodate that

  11. It’d be really interesting to see how her and mrs mac interacted with each other considering their socioeconomic differences

  12. i always wished they hadn’t killed off dee & dennis’s mom bc her and lucille would’ve LOVED each other

  13. It’s a spoiled kid whose parents are funding his dreams. They had a failed attempt at a coffee joint in Georgetown and the city forced their hands to leave, after they went against city code on how they agreed to use the plot of land. Instead of working with the city of Georgetown, he (and his friends) instead would shit talk the other coffee shops in Georgetown and would say they were turning the city “against him” (????) He was known for hiring younger girls specifically, which tracks with his grooming behavior that he was not concerned with hiding while in Highschool. We love to see failures fail.

  14. omg i remember that. they were saying the starbucks were trying to get rid of them, as if starbucks cares about them? so weird

  15. If the v daludid helps that means opioids do help, you just haven’t tried the right one at the right dose. Drs nowadays do not come close to prescribing proper doses.

  16. it only helps for about 30 minutes but it’s a great 30 minutes. it has something to do with the way my body metabolizes it or something. not super sure but my dad has the same issue. oral opiates do absolutely nothing but IV meds help for a small amount of time then i go back to normal

  17. You could be an ultra rapid metabolizer. There are genetic tests you can do ( cyp450) to see which meds would be best for you

  18. april & owen. they had pretty similar values and life goals, both were trauma surgeons. plus they would’ve had little ginger babies

  19. To me that was the most obvious one that I was sorry never happened

  20. What type of abdominal surgeries? C section?Yes a CT scan at hospital would show a blockage for sure!’I’ve tried Restoralax which is Miralax I believe in the U.S. doesn’t help me at two full caps mixed in water. Only getting some relief from Lactulose at the moment which seems to work better then Lizziness. Maybe try Lactulose at any pharmacy

  21. i actually pooped the next day from this post!! but i had 2 exlaps done, an open hernia repair w mesh(a very large hernia), and some tissue & skin removal. i’ve been doing 2 caps of miralax a day bc the 1 cap twice a day wasn’t working & then colace twice a day. i still take an exlax everyday bc that is usually what makes me poop like immediately but hoping i can wean off of it… i honestly should’ve just been taking the miralax and colace everyday and i probably wouldn’t have ended up like that. but ~ i used to take senna daily and that really worked for me but stopped when i had diarrhea one time like a year ago

  22. ah yes the 5$ footlong commercials still ring in my memories

  23. you know what’s crazy? younger people don’t know about this. my last job i was older than everyone but only by a few years. i was 23/24 and everyone else was in high school or beginning college. NOBODY KNEW THAT FOOTLONGS USED TO BE $5. i couldn’t believe it

  24. With a lot of laxatives they want you to sleep on them. I dont know if lying down has a lot to do with how they work, but its always "gentle overnight action". See if that helps.

  25. thanks for the reply! yes, i was thinking i hadn’t really given the laxative time to work. it’s just been since i woke up this morning, about 12 hours. this pain is a lot different than what i’ve felt before because it’s mostly my lower abdomen and it’s like this hard, stiff pain - if that makes sense? so i’ve never really been constipated like this before

  26. Don’t have a favorite but the run from 5-11 is fantastic

  27. so true. they had really found a good flow. it’s one of the only shows that there’s very few episodes i don’t like

  28. mac & charlie die are my favorite episodes in the entire show

  29. I’m sorry you are hurting. You say opiates do nothing. Was the dose high enough? Nowadays, drs rarely rx an adequate dose

  30. yes, i’ve tried lots of different kinds and lots of different doses. i know it’s wrong but i’ve definitely taken more than what was prescribed and still nothing

  31. no but i know i couldn’t do the antidepressants bc im already on a cocktail of psych meds and there was an interaction

  32. Chronic pain. A few years ago I had some health issues after Covid and developed a condition that left me in 24/7 pain for just over 18 months until surgery was, finally, able to fix it. Those 18 months were pure hell. Sure, you can think you know how mentally taxing it would be, but when it actually happens it is worse tan you can imagine. It affects every part of your life. You have to plan around it. You are constantly tired and have no desire to do anything and just getting through the day is a struggle. I never got suicidal, but I could see how someone with chronic pain could get to that point. My quality of life was very low for over 2 years (including the Covid that hospitalized me i the first place) and I have much more sympathy and understanding now for people who deal with chronic pain.

  33. thank you for this. this is what came to mind with the question - i’m 25 and have been dealing w chronic pain for over 2 years after surgery complications. no end in sight.

  34. I was on Arizonas side. It makes me so mad that people use the “but she wasn’t her bio kid” adoptive parents are still parents.

  35. right? i mean think of zola and maggie… those are their parents. the kids don’t see them as anything but that

  36. Tbh I thought they were both wrong.

  37. they did try to talk and come up with a schedule instead of taking it to court but nobody could agree

  38. Ehhhh quick think of something to say….

  39. Watching Charlie Day in Hotel Artemis? Awesome, handsome? Watching Charlie Kelly???? Well, I guess he only eats the good lizards

  40. i think there is something wrong w me that i think a man who eats cat food is still weirdly attractive to me

  41. ADHESIONS. nobody seems to want to say it. it’s always something to do with a nerve or that i need to relax. ive had multiple abdominal surgeries for a variety of reasons. i know that there’s not a good treatment for adhesions but i’m tired of useless injections and PT. sigh
