STR took about 3weeks to get my scores back. So if you fail you won’t know for a while to prepare again. My program advised that I take it first because of the wait time and the fact that it’s the harder one of them all. And STR I studied seriously for about a week and casually for another week so 2 weeks. EC-6 was more like 3 weeks to 4 weeks studying because of the different areas I had to study.
Does anyone else find it weird that the colours aren't more aligned between Apple products? I'd expect iMacs, iPads, iPhones, watches, etc. to have the same colours.
For the year to count towards certification requirements, it must be a paid internship while on an intern or probationary certificate. You cannot get your intern certificate until you have passed your content exam(s).
We no longer have an alt cert program here, but when we did, the internship had to encompass two full semesters and include the first and last days of school at that location. The only ones who could start at a different time were late hires, and there was a limit on how many days later they could start and still count any part of the semester.
Yeah lol I’m about to begin teaching EC-6 this fall and it has definitely pushed me more to the “no kids or one and done” mindset. I used to want 3 lmao. Unless I leave the classroom in the future I think I’ll probably stick to 1 or none
I studied 1 subject per day. So Monday- Friday I’d be studying up to 2-4 hours a day. Depending on the subject. I will say the actual exam isn’t as bad as all the practice tests i did. The first time i took the core exam i passed all subjects except math and fine arts. The second time around i passed all!!
When I quit, I used all my sick time and vacation time and it was literally just like getting a second paycheck! I worked for them for three years and I was treated horribly. I will be taking advantage of MY hard worked hours
My dermatologist recommended washing my hair with Nizoral (anti dandruff shampoo, got it at the grocery store) because it has Ketoconazol which is primarily anti dandruff but has the wonderful secondary benefit of helping hair growth.
Hi! This issue got cleared up with a couple weeks by switching to all natural beard products. I was allergic to something in his previous wash/conditioner. He always has taken great care of his beard :) thank you!

I think it depends on how you study - I studied for 2 weeks and passed. Same goes for the STR and ESL tests.
