  1. In the section under tip outs or tip pools it says the tip sharing must be in addition to everyone making the state minimum wage or above. If it’s legal for a restaurant in Washington state to pay a server $2.15 an hour like it is in many states, and that restaurant does, then they cannot share those tips with the back of the house. Per Federal law.

  2. It is not, minimum wage whether tipped or not is 16.28 in WA state.

  3. Then that’s why they can share the tip pool.

  4. Prior to 2019 this was not the case in WA state which did not allow mandatory tip pools to include non-traditionally tipped employees. Tip out was at the discretion of the servers.

  5. This is the only way to fill up. Low key kinda hate having to stop at a gas station with all my gear on.

  6. This comment is by no means meant to belittle in anyway, but the 401 might be the easiest bike I’ve ever ridden to fuel up at a gas station. Pull up to pump, remove gloves, open gas tank, insert card, carefully put nozzle in tank, fill up, put nozzle back, latch gas tank, grab receipt (definitely a business expense), put key in ignition, put gloves on, start engine, and finally leave. Sure, that’s like 20 steps but given the weight and balance it’s super easy to keep up straight and fill compared to some other bikes I’ve owned.

  7. Disregarding the joke, that's crazy to see a 2003-2007 GMC with that little mileage on it.

  8. I was going to say the same thing, my 04 Sierra is sitting at 65,000 miles currently. Nice to have something to look forward to in the next few years!

  9. One thing The Wire taught me- never trust the stats.

  10. I didn’t realize it got my car until I was parked; really need that dash cam! Glad you got yours tho 😤

  11. Had the same happen to me. Didn’t realize the damage until I got done with a 6 hour drive. It was a state DoT gravel truck with an unsecured load. Made claim with insurance, full respect and new headlights (they were flecked as well). Deductible came back after insurance was paid by DoT.

  12. How tf did you get the DOT to pay lol you must’ve had video?

  13. Insurance got DoT to pay. Only reason I know they did is because my deductible was returned to me.

  14. Passport arrived last Saturday. Passport Card arrived Wednesday. Supporting documents have not been received yet.

  15. You go buy yourself a tape recorder and record yourself for a whole day. You might be surprised at some of your phrasing.

  16. And update, passport is in hand. 9 day turnaround, status still just says approved. No tracking provided.

  17. Just made the exact same post. Locator 10, sent off 7/20, received 7/21, approved 7/29 and schedule for delivery 7/30. Expedited Renewal!

  18. Update- Passport is in hand. 9 day turn around.

  19. Cafe Akroteri sells retail containers of hummus, zatziki, and tirokateri (spicy feta jalapeño dip) out of their storefront as well as bottles of their Greek dressing. They used to sell at all the stores in town. Good prices too!

  20. From what I’ve seen from people going both ways, it’s not worth the money or effort to take a bike over the border. Going both directions, most places will sell you the bike under the disclaimer that they are not responsible for any other process.

  21. Just an update, was able to get the letter of conformity from Triumph of America earlier last week after a bit of back and forth. Once I had that it was pretty straight forward. The border wait time (Canada day weekend + 4th of July) was the most annoying bit. Total duty paid was $215. Took the stamped paper right to the DMV and have plates on it and title in the mail. The exchange rate basically made it a straight trade (plus the 3 hour wait at the border) for the Tiger 800XC I offloaded earlier in the week for the Scrambler 1200XC I picked up.

  22. Cycle Therapy will treat you right. They are quite busy right now (prime time motorcycle season) but if you don’t do your own work they are quite fair.

  23. Read your owners manual for the procedure to check oil level. It must be on center stand or upright (not Sidestand). If the engine is cold you must run the engine for 3-5 minutes. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes and then check the level.

  24. Running new gas premium. Does anyone know how to vacuum test?

  25. I rebuilt an 83 CM250c I found a in a barn a couple years back. Had a huge issue with vacuum leak at the carb boot. It was Covid time so finding a replacement for the old rubber was near impossible, guessing it still is. I ended up using rescue tape to get a good seal. Might want to check the boot there.

  26. Parasitic drain. Something in your system is drawing power from the battery as your bike sits around. Either hook it up to a battery tender to keep the battery in a charged state, or put a battery disconnect switch in so that it cannot be drained while sitting, or trace down what is draining your battery.

  27. PM sent, we have a contingent of players at the Y and are always happy to welcome more. Cheers!

  28. OP says is scores are 504 and 488. For the sake of east math let’s say 500 and assume he has no utilization because all his accounts are closed. Opening a $300 limit subprime card doesn’t mean he’s going to see a major jump to his score. The 30% utilization figure is an average and is not the same for every borrower. These estimates (30% owned, 35% payment history, 15% age, 10% credit mix, 10% new credit) are estimate. And fico orovides these estimates. However fico also clearly states that:

  29. This makes no sense! FICO8 is made up of percentages, one of those .. like 35% is history. Another 35% is credit utilization. If you have another card with an available balance, that’s favorable. Why do people keep saying even if you can’t open a card don’t? It’s stupid.

  30. It’s quite a bit more complex than that. I’d recommend reading through the

  31. This depends entirely upon what is suppressing your scores now. Not enough details to say yes or no.

  32. Medical collections can be reported only after you are 180 days delinquent. Yes, the collection agency can report this collection and it can affect your credit. They are not obligated to do so though. Contact the collection agency and ask them if they will accept payment in exchange for not reporting. The letter you received may indicate that they will report after X amount of time if you do not respond or pay.

  33. Then the answer is yes, it can still be reported and affect your credit, however it most likely will not be.

  34. I agree on all points. I sometimes just get frustrated when people say things like, “oh, just do a pfd”. Like it’s the easiest thing in the world. That’s what I saw with the other comment (not yours)

  35. Also worth noting that while there are collection agencies that will PFD for the accounts they are reporting, this will have no bearing on accounts that are reported by the original creditor at the same time. Also lots of confusions between “collections”, “collection accounts” and “charged off accounts”. You’ve nailed this.

  36. I mean…. They will report the payment and it will go back up right away since it’s just utilization?

  37. Not just utilization though- new account, inquiry, age of accounts, accounts with balance were all affected. Time will take care of the rest.
