  1. A lot of contractors are being told to cut routes, unless they want to have their overall score/grade affected.

  2. Kind of hard for your contractor to make money when you canā€™t get more than 150 stops in a truck anymore. Itā€™s like FedEx went around and got every shitty account on purpose.

  3. Lmao nah, ill keep my 44 an hour and sweat my nuts off. New contract has AC coming "eventually" to the entire fleet anyway. Should have one in my truck around 2028 šŸ¤£

  4. Make that 2058, if Carol and the higher-ups have their way.

  5. The ā€œautoā€ machines youā€™re thinking of are continuous shuffling machines, unless youā€™re talking about tables that donā€™t have dealers? Iā€™ve never heard of that.

  6. Yeah, one of my locals has $5 tables, but theyā€™re 6:5 CSM tables, so I just stick to their DD offerings - though they do have 8D shoe games as well.

  7. I have a friend from Toronto who can give you some good insight

  8. Why do they not give points for the back half anyway I donā€™t get it?

  9. They never have. Points have always only paid to the top half/8/6, which incentivizes drivers to do their best and finish. Even CART never paid the entire field, it was the top twelve with bonuses for leading the most laps and starting on pole (one point each).

  10. Lemme guess: label says ā€˜73 lbsā€™? When it should read 160+ instead, lol.

  11. It reads 73 kilograms, they used to require a converted metric to pound( s) on the box, but they dont anymore

  12. Iā€™m meaning the actual FedEx shipping label. Thereā€™s an area that says ā€œweightā€ which will regularly say the wrong weight, especially if itā€™s a shipper with a flat rate contract (50 lb packages with ā€˜1 lbā€™ as its listed weight).

  13. The first and third are valid and reasonable. The second sounds like it was made by someone thats never been on a route.

  14. The second is technically what Express is supposed to do for apartments where thereā€™s two doors next to one-another, and it sounds like itā€™s getting dragged to Ground.

  15. I don't find that situation to be very common. Applying that rule to some of our routes would add an entire hour to the day for no additional pay and any amount of customer satisfaction would probably get offset by people annoyed that their package isn't be left

  16. Itā€™s not just Oklahoma. Having an issue with one state athletic commission will have knock on effects with others that regulate wrestling (New York, Pennsylvania, etc). They all generally work together and if youā€™re banned in one state, youā€™ll also end up banned in the others.

  17. I guarantee you that Pennsylvania and New York are not going to honor Oklahoma's transphobic ban for a fucking pro wrestling show. That is absolutely 1000% not going to happen.

  18. Generally speaking, if a promoter is stripped in one state by an athletic commission, itā€™s honored in other states with athletic commissions, transphobic or not. They do 10+ year background checks and you have to explain every issue on your record.

  19. Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve probably gets more use by bikes than cars over the year

  20. Yea there is no fucking way you did 40 stops in an hour and a half. That is shit pay by the way.

  21. FedEx driver and former Flexā€™er here - if the route is tight knit and you know the area, you can easily do 35-40 stops an hour.Ā

  22. Itā€™s not called ā€œThe Sweaty Spaniardā€ for nothinā€™!

  23. "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses."

  24. No they do not they are the own judge and jury and run their own gaming commission itā€™s crazy

  25. This is false. All casinos in Florida are overseen by the Florida Gaming Control Commission, and they have a compact with the state for their casinos.

  26. Always me with the double take for the picture

  27. Thatā€™s the ā€œfuck, I know I hit the button thing on the screen to take a picture, why didnā€™t it take the fuckinā€™ picture?!ā€ face.

  28. If heā€™s R-Truth, whoā€™s Little Jimmy?

  29. Most Prius are good for 250,000-300,000+ miles before you need to worry about replacing the hybrid battery. The Gen 3 cars have a really easy to replace battery that you can DIY to save money; itā€™s literally unfastening connectors and the battery pack from the car, and putting the new pack in.

  30. Didn't know that about gen3, pretty awesome to think about. Not OP but I think I know which model I'll end up going with!

  31. The Gen 4 is the same way. Only difference is where they put the battery pack; Gen 3ā€™s are in the trunk, while Gen 4 is underneath the rear seat, meaning thereā€™s a few extra steps to swapping it out.

  32. Yeah this happened to me once. Dispatch asked if I could grab a pup on my way in and it was already late when assigned to me. Management had the audacity to ask me why I had a late pup the next day.

  33. Whenever I had that happen, I always made sure to ask dispatch what the close time on it was, so it could either be adjusted to not be late, or my manager could be told ahead that I was being given a pup that was already past its close time.

  34. If that entrance had been the cold open for a series, Sami would be killed before the credits rolled.

  35. Enters the Gorilla position area, just gets beaned by someone with a chair - roll intro credits!

  36. I can't tell if 50 is your min bet here and maybe you're spreading up to 600 max or if your spread is just 50-100 which would be a losing game.

  37. Iā€™m guessing heā€™s just spreading 1-4 ($50-250), but even then the RoR is likely higher than 30%, but it also depends on the tableā€™s full ruleset - we know S17, and considering heā€™s counting, we can say 3:2, but double down rules (9-11? DA2? DAS?) can change the RoR.

  38. It's possible. I quit THC 60 days ago and tested myself twice right before I went in. The strips were negative. Would I get the DOT certificate issued if I had failed?

  39. Th DOT physical doesnā€™t test for drugs, though you may have had to do a drug screening separate from the physical (or thatā€™s what youā€™re assuming is the physical? Not sure what all you had to do at that particular appointment).

  40. Can we all take a moment of silence in honor of the lives that will be lost when OP uses the bathroom. Gods have mercy on their souls.

  41. Nobody go in that bathroom for 35, 45 minutes.

  42. Worse than the Performance Center parking lot!

  43. I thought we were the only station doing this leaving at 9:00 but told to make service or else šŸ˜‚.

  44. My old station was 8:30ish on Mondays, but then 9:00 the rest of the week. I had one of the bulkiest routes in the station - first stop would be 60-90 dry ice packages, all of which were P1. Of my first 10 stops, 6 were P1 bulks.

  45. Closest Iā€™ve done was 250 during peak just last year. My route currently is roughly 140-170, though with this merger weā€™re being told by FedEx Corporate that trucks have to go out packed to the gills, so routes are going to be cut, drivers are going to have bigger route areas, and more stops.
