  1. My cousin named her baby Neveah. I told my dad it was spelt wrong and he didn't have the heart to tell her (me and her aren't close). Kids like 5 now and I laugh every time I see it written on social media.

  2. I won't lie, a whole lot of these replies sound childish af. Especially the ones about smoking and drinking. Do you not think that these idols don't know what they're doing?

  3. Oh no - people are concerned about an idols health. How could they be so terrible? /s

  4. Playing BG3 and my R2 is unresponsive. Try a reset of the controller and now it's the entire controller that doesn't respond at all when I start any game. Any ideas?

  5. Yeah so my cousin did this... but spelt it wrong so it's Neveah. The kids 6 and it's still the hilarious any time I see her post about the kid.

  6. Vernon caught my attention during L&R era, and that's when I started looking at them (still not learning names but listening to quite a few songs). Then I saw Wonwoo and that was it. After like... 6 years of having Yoongi as an ult. Wonwoo took over.

  7. We've had quite a few staff leave this year - some down to retiring, some leaving the profession, its been pretty even men/women. The majority of new hires are Female ECT1s though (however new hires for leadership are all men)

  8. I teach Comp Sci (just finished first year ECT). Make sure you know the exam board requirements inside and out for KS4, due to weird differences between the different boards.

  9. For Computer Science at UoR: 10 started 2 left at Christmas 1 failed 1 failed the PGCE but got QTS 6 passed 2 are actually went into teaching after qualifying

  10. Our new year 7s had a disco and kept asking for different songs from the Guardians of the Galaxy playlists, old boy bands like NSync, Backstreet Boys, Cha Cha slide, macarena, on top of the world - imagine dragons, BTS - Dynamite, anything Ed sheeran

  11. Oh you absolutely can deduce a lot from this. The 3 year old only knows this behaviour because it's been modelled for him many multiples of times before for him to even be aware that it's something he should do. And for him to act so intuitively and quickly. So yeah this shit is happening on a repeated basis.

  12. Babies are constantly sticking stuff in their mouths. It IS a regular occurrence. Doesn't mean she is a bad mother. Just means he is a clever and observant kid.

  13. I was thinking an array of the Computing Department!

  14. In a similar situation. I got an added payment that was less than TLR. You need to make it clear your level of experience from the outset so they have no comeback if it goes tits up.

  15. Did you get this at the start or did you negotiate later?

  16. I had this issue in my old school and while what you say would be a great burn to the school, I could never go ahead and teach the kids the wrong thing knowing full well it's incorrect.

  17. This is exactly the problem. I'm shooting myself in the foot if I teach them the pointless/wrong stuff now and then have to backtrack if they take GCSE

  18. I do about the same amount and definitely feel guilty sometimes. However, it's essential to make sure you do have off hours. Keep your Saturdays free all of the time. Make sure, for your own mental health, that you let yourself rest. Prioritise based on what you need to do that day, what can wait a day and what can wait a few days.

  19. In 2020 during the 48 hour BTS stream live chat on Reddit, we were the two going absolute mental over Singularity. Still going mental together today. Consider her one of my very best friends even though she's nearly 4k miles away!

  20. He kept staying out till 6am and wouldn't tell me where he had been or who he had been with. I realised I just didn't care where he had been. I cared more that he kept waking me up early. So I left.

  21. I'm 29 and an Atiny! It was actually amazing at the London show this year because there were so many older Atiny there. I was sat in front of a couple of guys (mid/late 20s!) who came in a group. One had become an atiny in 2020, and bought tickets for his friends as well to get them into kpop. His best friend left as a Wooyoung bias hahaha.

  22. It depends on what congregation you are in. And also family can put a halt to it. It's widely regarded as a waste of time and resources when you should be putting time, money and your life into serving Jehovah.

  23. Know the feeling dude, my mums still in with them. But she's the only one in the family still believing! As soon as I turned 16 I made my brother my emergency contact, and he's the one who makes medical decisions for me if anything ever happened. I know my mum loves me but I also know she wouldn't let me have a blood transfusion.

  24. In 2019 I moved back home with my parents for the first time in like 6 years and our family dog hit about 15. We got her when I was 12 and I grew up with her. She started having similar sounding seizures and we took her to the vets about a month after I moved back home and the vet said we could try some different medication or put her down. Me and mum decided we'd try some more medication as she seemed okay enough except from the seizures (we now think that the bursts of energy she had was because she was so excited to have me back). Literally that night, my mum stayed downstairs with her because she was fitting so much. I can't even write about it because it was so horrible and my mum didn't want me to see it so didn't come wake me up. I feel so guilty, even three years later, that I wasn't there. She died that night. Please. Please be with them when they go. He loves you, he needs you. Be strong.

  25. Saw people on Tiktok who tested positive about 5 days ago saying they would still go. Then posted pics of themselves there, unmasked. Its so so so selfish.

  26. They didn't require a negative covid test to enter the venue? When I went to see twice in atlanta this February, the required a negative covid test

  27. Not that I'm aware of. I'm in the UK so I can't be 100% sure but one of my best friends in the US said that they weren't asking for negative tests at the Monsta X show last month so I can imagine they aren't now. It'll probably depend on the state/venue

  28. I recently heard this while covering an elementary school track meet. Is it supposed to be like an obnoxious/hentai porn sound?

  29. I teach Secondary School CompSci (middle/high in the US) and hear it ALL the time. It always sounds like a gross hentai porn sound and makes me feel so ill
