  1. This was my first thought as well. Even food coloring in cake icing can make your poop turn colors (and be a good indicator of how long it takes you to digest things lmao)

  2. AND,for the record, eating blue or black icing on cake will you really, really green poop!

  3. My father is telling me to fix things with my mother. He originally told me that “your mom is the way she is, she’ll come around”. The past month she’s been going insane according to my father complaining about “how I didn’t take her ring shopping with me” and that “I’m planning a wedding without her input” I’ve seen her once since I got engaged at my parents house and she ran inside away from me.

  4. That's the truth! I thought I was the smartest 26 year old anywhere on earth (when I was 26 😂). Now at 47, I look back at myself and say "Oh you sweet little idiot." 😂

  5. Yeah, just wait until you are 68 and wondering what you were thinking when you were younger!!!!

  6. You absolutely do want to run cool water over a minor burn asap. This stops the burn and limits the amount of injury longterm.

  7. Cold compresses work better.

  8. Wow this is so sad and concerning. Not saying it was your responsibility, but was there ever a point you could have offered your home as a place for this girl to hang out after school? Would she / her mother have taken you up on it? Crazy her dad didn't get primary custody in this case.

  9. That would have been on the dad for not revisiting the custody arrangement or getting family court involved.

  10. I agree. My main concern was getting the help the child needed.

  11. I knew a guy whose children's white Shetland PONY died. Head it mounted a taxidermist, ALL of the pony. They mounted it on as board with wheels and essentially had a life size pull toy. No idea what it cost him. I can only imagine his wife's reaction. Could you have your pet soft mounted? (Or whatever it is called)? So it's like a stuffed animal? My sister raised rabbits and buried all her champions in large flowerpot that she put flowers in every year. Not sure how that'd work with a dog the size of a GSD though. I think you'dneed a huge pot, though.

  12. I think I'd destroy the stuffie version of him because I couldn't help myself not to pet him. But thanks I'll think about a full taxidermy mount, maybe so that he looks like he's sleeping.

  13. Your downstairs neighbors will love that! Especially when rainwater filters through. If it's a patio, you'll have to keep scavengers frpm digging it up.

  14. Q: Do you have children?

  15. Exactly. And the saddest part honestly is the fact she could have had a whole surrogate family to love her, to be there for her, to love and take joy in her child and she just went and screwed it up big time.

  16. She doesn't want as whole surrogate family....she just wants a husband...yours, preferably.

  17. That fur, the face....name him Crash!

  18. You would be absolutely astounded by the number of grandparents raising their grandchildren. Entirely possible. !y daughter works with a woman who is 50 and a grandmother. Yes, those 3 generations live with her. Ugh!

  19. The only problem I see with that is the pictures have already been rescheduled twice, so I sincerely doubt they'd be willing to again.

  20. WHY does he need you there anyway? When you are at work and he has classes where is Greg? He'll be fine. He's a big boy now.

  21. I think bf wanted Greg nearby to join in some of the pics. So, he wanted OP to have him ready nearby, probably in a leash.

  22. Well then, he can ask a friend to go along. It doesn't have to be OP.

  23. We have always simply sent cards on Mother's day. Then taken the kids out for something like a trip to a park or zoo. As we got older and had more disposable income, we sent small floral arrangements or fruit. There's something to be said for distance from your parents.

  24. Talk to your doctor and see if he will order peace and quiet, i.e. no visitors, no extra people around but your husband, when he clears you for release. If he knows the background and how apprehensive you are about returning home to the tornado that will cause you more stress and anxiety during your healing. Most doctors would understand, I think, and help you out. "Sorry mom, Doctor is releasing wife only on the condition that it be a very quiet environment. Only mher and I at home until she is more healed. "

  25. Probably not. My preemie spent 9 days in the NICU and the scrubbing was for 5 minutes up to our elbows. There was no taking the babies out of the NICU, either. So besides no weight on the wrist, the cast will be unsanitary and MIL will be unable to scrub.

  26. She needs to be tested for narcissistic personality disorder as well as ADHD.

  27. Like she'd consent to that!!!

  28. The consequences? You mean abusive adults who THREW OUT A CHILD BECAUSE SHE REACTED TO THEM GETTING REMARRIED? LIKE MOST CHILDREN DO? I hope y'all never have children.

  29. So a 16y/o should not have to behave any differently than a child? Um, no. She needs to grow up.

  30. So a 16 year old isn't allowed to act out when her literal parents have shown how willing they are to throw her out? No. She needs therapy, not people like you saying SHE NEEDS TO GROW UP. It's not about whether or not she needs to grow up, it's about the fact that these abusive AHs don't see the blatant harm they're causing to this CHILD. Because she is still a child.

  31. Depends on how you define "acting out". Destroying other peoples property or being a hateful person spewing obscenities and causing physical harm are unacceptable. She was not "thrown out" (your phrase) until she acted repeatedly in an unacceptable manner.

  32. So has anybody thought that like him not knowing how to get a hold of them they had no way to get a hold of him? Yes maybe call the dorm but have you ever tried that. They are oh so helpful to non relatives who want a random kid's info.

  33. Could have talked to the RA (or whatever they 're called now) and had them tell the OP when they expected to be there. Who would have let them in if OP had been in class when they arrived?

  34. Getting a message to him is feasible yes. But as far as them being more lenient not so much. The legality of it is the thing they have procedures that do not allow to give out any information for the students safety. Way to many examples of that going horribly wrong. People who want to do harm will say anything.

  35. I didn't say give the parents of his dead roommate this info, they simply have to ask that a message passed along to OP. Maybe leave their phone number so he can contact them. It's not rocket science.

  36. Matilda is on our broader list as well. Maxine nn Max is cute!

  37. Until kids start calling her Maxipad. Because kids are really shitty to each other.

  38. That doesn't make sense at all. He insisted on a vasectomy because he is so against having a child. He doesn't want one so much so that she is afraid that when she tells him he will leave her over it.

  39. I suspect he just figured that if she got pregnant, he'd simply say he's had a vasectomy and it's not his.

  40. I don't recall asking for your opinion....however, my hair will grow back, your rude personality.......(shrug shoulders)

  41. Twice now someone tall has attempted to solve the short toilet problem in my home by peeing sitting down. Then somehow managed to pee between the toilet and the seat onto the floor without noticing.

  42. Seriously, are these men too stupid to hold their dick down so pee goes into the toilet where they are sitting??? WTF!!!

  43. Kidney problems from too much protein.
