Are we still doing this? Bill was a very good GM for a period of time most GMs don't even get the chance to try. He was also, however, objectively the worst in the nfl by the end of his tenure. That's not up for debate. He started with a wildcard team and in 4 years built it into the oldest, least talented roster in the entire nfl. He handcrafted one of the worst offenses in nfl history and then got a re-do the next year and cracked the bottom 30 of all time. Not only was he responsible for one of the worst periods of mismanagement of the modern era but due to circumstance, we will never get the chance to see someone do it again, because they'd be fired less than halfway through by sheer nature of not being Bill Belichick.
