  1. Hey its okay if you didn’t pass it the first time, just think about it as another practice test. I’d recommend watching YouTube videos specifically from the tutor geek, nurse cheung, and nurse hub videos. Don’t worry about it, take it one step at a time. Never doubt yourself because you are most definitely capable and smart enough!

  2. I’m so happy for you 🥹 congratulations! I almost applied to WCU for the fall but I can’t justify the tuition, so I’m going to apply to as many ccs as I can end of fall. I feel like this is a sign for me lol ty for sharing! Wish you all the best in your journey. 🥳

  3. Yes!!!! Keep applying and apply everywhere! WCU is just too expensive. I hope the best for you!

  4. 3.8 gpa, 80% teas, associate degree, cna cert, bilingual, hospital experience (extra point)

  5. I am. It is pricey, but at this point I am willing to take on the debt if it means I get my BSN. With all of my prerequisites done at community college, the cost would be around 80k which is insane. However, I spoke to a nursing counselor and she said it is definitely worth thinking about considering how much it's possible to make as a nurse.

  6. That’s true, you are investing in your future and I will pay off. I know someone who paid it off two years.

  7. Nurse cheung on yt offers a really good breakdown on the science portion. 24 hours isn’t ideal but it’ll provide a good overview

  8. The test pools from thousands of random questions. I’m not sure it’s one you can cram for because there is just so much information to know. If I were you, I’d quick try to memorize the geometry formulas for math and know how to solve your algebra equations. Anatomy and physiology comprise most of the science portion (18 questions). Know the difference in muscle tissues, how a muscle contracts and relaxes, the endocrine system, its hormones and what they do, etc. The Hypothalamus seems to come up a lot on my practice questions. I haven’t taken the exam yet so I hope I’m giving good advice to you, here. Good luck!

  9. Can confirm about the hormones part. I got a question specifically about the hypothalamus and what it controls

  10. I mostly started out watching YouTube. Specifically from Nurse cheung, the tutor_geek, and some other random videos. In January I bought the Future RN course from Dr Amy Weinberg. Very helpful although I feel like a few things were missing. Momentrix has online practice tests that were helpful too

  11. As someone who goes to an ADN program in california, I got an 84% on my teas and they only took my 1st try. I also had 4.0 science GPA and 3.7 overall gpa. Some people in my cohort had a lower teas of 75 with a 3.5 science GPA. In california, the big difference is if you have patient care hours as that can make a huge difference into getting into a california nursing program. If I remember correctly, my school now gives 20 to 25 points just for having patient care experience. You also have to look at the school you want to get into and see what is the multi criteria points and see if there is any classes that will give you extra points just for taking it and getting a C or better. Don't let your teas discourage you as it is still a high teas and your GPA is also high too.

  12. Thankfully I do have my cna license so I’m able to get a few points from that too! Thank you for your advice:)

  13. Seriously Considering going just cuz of them. The lineup is good but dang sublime just puts the cherry on top
