  1. Sorry to hear. Do you remember the tick that gave it to you? It was here in Marin? Did you have the redness around the bite sight? Just curious because I’ve heard of people getting Lyme from time spent on the east coast, but you’re the first here locally. Doctors claim only small percentage of ticks carry it in California which I wonder how true that is.

  2. Yup! Was probably attached for 18 hours and I woke up to it stuck in my shin. About two weeks later I felt like I had the flu and that sickness has stuck with me on and off for the last 6 years. Had the rash ring and everything. It’s a huge problem here and I didn’t really know anything about it until I fell into it. Some folks have no issues, some need a quick round of antibiotics and some stay sick. Kinda like covid and long covid.

  3. Thanks for the response. Hope the medical world finds a better solution for you sometime and you get past it!

  4. what makes you think you have inflammation? is there a test for it? would be cool to be able to track improvement

  5. Seems pretty normal and aligns with my experience. Igenex, infecto labs, etc do a great job at catching what the dated mainstream tests miss. There is a reason all the top Lyme docs use those speciality labs. Note most Lyme books cover this in great detail if you haven’t had a chance to check any of them out.

  6. The thing is, how do we tell the difference between a false positive IgeneX test vs. a false-negative ARUP test? I don't really have the credentials to make that nuanced distinction myself.

  7. plenty of books/podcasts/youtubes on this...

  8. Most of the time herbs are the answer. Look up the posts on here where people have cured themselves of Lymes with 6 months of Buhner protocol or similar, or Long Covid with detox and herbs. Then look at the amount of people that were on antibiotics for months and years and come to this sub because antibiotics let them down. You should try it for your self. You will be surprised.

  9. you're assuming too much with this reply

  10. this was posted a few days ago. you should sign up to join the trial if you haven't already.

  11. you can be reactivated without elevated IgM. Since their early antigen is elevated, it is reactivated

  12. worth a shot. had no impact on me after 6 months

  13. some believe in this marker and some don't. would go with whatever your current doc thinks.

  14. Yup! I registered a while back. Y'all should sign up and contribute.

  15. Cannabis helps a lot with the daily aches and fever. If you can't tolerate THC, atleast try something high in CBD. I also sit in a 1500W far infrared sauna every day for 15-30min, this helps with the aches, but often increases the fever symptoms due to the Herx response.

  16. +1 to the sauna. has been the best thing by far.

  17. Have you done the early antigen test to see if your EBV is activated? It’s a separate test that you have to ask for and is done in conjunction of the other 3 EBV tests. That will tell you the full story on what’s going on with body and EBV.

  18. I have ya. I’m now just remembering you saying SOT in another post. Thanks!

  19. took a 3 hour nap. caffeine withdrawals are wild.

  20. Thanks for the reply. When you say igg is older, how do you mean? Symptoms started as late as March 2023 but possible hints Nov/Dec 2022. Only really awful since August 2023 though.

  21. Igm is recent infection. Igg is old
