Do whatever is going to be best for you. I personally am choosing not to worry about money because I know I can pay it back. And for me the best option is living close. I know that I’m close enough to home so I can come back whenever I want, but I also need my own space for studying and living how I need to get through school.
So it was mostly just responsibilities and experience based. The personal statement is where I dived into what I learned and how it influenced me to become a PA.

Also I’m about to be in this same position. It is ridiculously stupid to me that an institution can tell you how much it costs to live and if it’s up for debate. As an adult I should be allowed to choose how much debt I wish to go in. Like I don’t get it
If the aide just asked in a calm, not crazy way I don’t see how it’s a problem. You are a celebrity. Janette could have just been like yes, but please don’t spread it around or whatever.

In her book, she talks about how she was harassed and de-personified as Sam- people would ask her about her butter sock any time she tried to go out, people never called her by her real name, and for the aide to call her Sam, while with her mother, was a cherry on top
I very much understand how you feel. I’m not satisfied with how much I have been able to go out and have fun with my friends, and I’m your age. I’m still going to make time to do fun things when I can, plus school only lasts 2 years.
I was a PCT for a year and a half and quit this month because I start PA school next month. 😁 the whole reason for me to get the job was to get into PA school and it paid off! I learned sooo much
Yep. But drink like you haven’t ate or drank anything all day (even though you have, you must lol). You’ll be a lightweight now. It definitely depends, but I can be very tipsy after 1 strong drink
You’re totally fine. I got a b in a few courses and ended with a 3.7 both science and cumulative. Ended up getting into 2/4 schools I applied to
If it makes you feel any better I chose a t150 over a t50 because of cost and closeness to family also
And at the end of the day, you’re still going to be a doctor. The only thing I wonder if it makes a difference when matching into residency

I have rather dry and sensitive skin, especially in the winter. Yet I am also a sweaty/stinky person if I don’t use certain products.
Some schools accept it in replacement of the GRE, so consider that. Also be prepared to defend why PA over MD even harder in your PS and interviews
I think they’re capitalizing on their desirable speciality to take advantage of a new grad. I wouldn’t accept anything under 100k
I didn’t sugar coat or add fluff. Straight to the point of what I did. Save the emotion for your personal statement.
Did you only mention what the responsibilities of each experience were? Or did you also add what you learned from each experience too?

What was your PCE like? Did you enjoy it and could you see yourself as a provider in that type of setting.

To relieve your stress go look at your programs of interest info page. Some have tiered lists of PCE they like 😁
