  1. Logitech G502X and a $50-60 mechanical keyboard I got on Amazon. Its a 60%. Ive also got a full size, but I dont use it since I like the extra space, and I just keep a separate number pad on my desk if I need it.

  2. 3070ti, i7-13700KF, and 32GB DDR5 w/ a Quest 3.

  3. Thankyou. Another question, is abit confused about open composite, does it just skip using steam VR/meta? And do i have to actually download it? Or do I just tick it on the MO2? Everytime I selected it on Mad gods it just opened steam VR and made no difference

  4. You download it. It’s a very small .dll file. Then you swap it out for the one in the game directory. You need to also set the Virtual Desktop streamer app to VDXR instead of Steam VR. I might be remembering the name wrong as I’m on my phone. But yea, it basically replaces SteamVR and frees up some power. You can do it on a per game basis, or do it system wide.

  5. I don’t use any parity on my 70TB server. All of my media is catalogued in Radarr and Sonarr, and very easy to find. If I lose a drive, I just need to replace it, and make sonarr and Radarr automatically re download it.

  6. Well, let me know how to get this backwards ass state to move forward. I can't buy booze on Sunday. You think they care?

  7. Well a quick google search shows me digital ID laws were passed in AR at the end of 2017. So it’s not them that need to get with the times. It’s your owner.

  8. lol I meant to type AR. It’s been legal in AR since 2017. My point still stands.

  9. Haha thats how it starts. I started with an 8TB drive, a little more than a year ago. Now I have 70TB of space.

  10. I worked in road construction inspection for a few years, Ive since switched to bridge inspection. I saw something online a while back that was pretty cool, but I believe it was just a prototype.

  11. It is. I just have a hard time finding nzb's for free

  12. Jesus how much storage do you run on that? I've always wanted to get a server up and running for my own but shit seems expensive af.

  13. I’ve got 70TB total. Maybe 40TB used so far. I think the total cost for hard drives, enclosure for them, and the actual server was like a little more than $1000.

  14. I have the same card. Runs stiff on my 1440p ultrawide mostly on high, and handles VR great too. It could definitely use some more VRAM when I play modded Skyrim VR, but it’s a great card.

  15. I picked one up for very cheap a few months ago just to mess around with. It works for PCVR through Virtual Desktop, and I was able to side load a handful of pirated games that aren’t supposed to work on it. But apart from the OLED screens (which are honestly pretty impressive in darker games) it has nothing going for it.

  16. Check your sound settings in windows and see what device it’s using for audio.

  17. I get people to start their own tab from the start. If you order a drink for someone, tell me it’s on their tab, or it’s going on yours.

  18. 1TB is the smallest SSD I would even consider unless it was just for the OS.

  19. This is just what I’ve been playing because I had all these as a kid. There are tons of other great games, but this covers the basic classics.

  20. Is it ok if I just play these games and don’t bother to play other games from the series, like don’t play the modern games or just play super Mario Bros and that’s it? The other games within the franchise don’t interest me. I feel an urge to play Donkey Kong country just because it’s popular, not because I want to. It’s because they are legendary status games that everyone loves, and idk when delta is getting pulled from the App Store, so I couldn’t access the legendary status games of the history of gaming, the greatest games of all time

  21. All of these games can be played without playing the others. Most older games were like that. All of the Donkey Kong games on SNES are pretty fun btw.

  22. I have a 4 bay JBOD with 4 drives in it. 3 are 18TB and one is 16TB. The 18TB recertified Dell Exos drives are like $170 or so on Amazon.

  23. You are meant to exchange insurance information and take photos of the location and damage. If the cars are driveable part ways. If you need a tow wait with the car. Only call the police if you are blocking traffic, there is a anger issue, or someone is injured

  24. I always call the police and have it documented. I’ve done exactly as you described before, only for the other persons insurance to claim I was the one at fault, and then my insurance just accepting that, and I got fucked over.

  25. I spend like $10/mo on Usenet. I bought a lifetime Plex pass for like $90. And I’ve spent about $1200 on the hardware for my 70TB Plex server.

  26. When I buy ground beef, I always portion it out to one lb packs. I put ot in a zip lock and spread it about 1 inch thick and basically make a sheet of beef. They thaw super fast like that. Especially if you put them on defrost in the microwave.

  27. I do something similar but draw a cross in the sheet of beef from the outside of the Ziploc with the side of my hand. I can get about four pounds in a bag and the thinner lines allow me to snap off each pound when needed. It keeps me from thawing the whole package at once. I also avoid the microwave as I feel like the defrost setting changes the beefs texture some.

  28. Yes I do the same when I put more than a pound in them. I also do this with pre diced onions and bell peppers. I can just break off like half a cup of cut up veggies.

  29. I once taped a small airhorn under someones chair so that when they sat down, it would go off.

  30. Dont get the KF. F = Fuck no it doesnt have an iGPU. The iGPU in that CPU will be a beast at transcoding, and you wont need the GPU that will use way more power than the CPU.

  31. Resident Evil 7 & 8 are two of the best experiences I’ve had in VR.

  32. Doesn’t the resolution difference between vr and screens bother you? I started with vr and ended up switching to a 3 monitor system because of the higher resolution.

  33. I honestly haven't played much sim racing in VR since I dont have a good setup currently. But the resolution doesn't bother me on other games. I can run most things on high settings. I have a Quest 3 with the pancake lenses so that edge to edge clarity makes a HUGE difference (if you havnt tried a Quest 3, you really should), and a decent enough PC (i7-13700KF, 3070ti, and 32GB of DDR5).
