Why did you (and some others I see) play against completing tasks? Why did you thought it would be better to combine everything without having a reason to do so, and then be surprised if you can no longer progress?
Mine created an asura ranger, went hunting mosquitoes on Caledon forest cause was scared on big monsters, harvested some herbs for me to cook and quit. It's sad cause I know she'd enjoy the game so much, but since I'm a hardcore end game player, she only gets to see me playing "difficult" content and practice new builds or raging on wvw and such. And because of that, she doesn't see that gw2 has sooooo many different ways to play it u_u
My friend, you still don’t seem to understand. The point of HOF is for the other team to be stronger than yours, it always has been, you beating them is how you climb up, so I’m not sure why you’re suddenly surprised that the enemy warlord has 100 more HP or has a hero with 3500 might when the best you got is 2700. It’s always been like that so now that we talk about season battles, the same rules apply.
I've won chaos, nature and order. I got second place on last chaos. I understand difficulty and pairings and all. My strongest deck by far is nature. I came up 5th this last season with 4155 points. It became so frustrating I just stopped playing seasonal for the last 2 days. I had fun the other seasons. This one was beyond outscaled. But whatever.
Bro if you have the credentials that you claim then why say the things you have? If you’re able to get that number of trophies then you’re far enough in the game to know how the game works. You have either spent enough money or played the game for 2 years to have your team, im guessing you’re L5? Well that’s pretty close to top tier man.
I'll get one more attempt to get through to you. I got to 20k trophies on the nature seasonal before that last one, being on same league. Yeah. 20k. I've won with ranges from 20k wich was insane, to 4k. So it's not a matter of me going higher leagues, or my deck being better or worse. Last nature seasonal battle was way harder than others i've played on same league (cause i don't go for hall of fame). And again: This LAST matchmaking was really outscaled. I'm not talking about all seasonal battles, just the last one, as others on this thread said. I don't understand why are you so determined to believe all seasonal battles are scaled the same, when i myself have experienced harder and easier seasonal battles each time. Maybe you're experiencing same level of difficulty each time, or maybe it scales differently for each league. You can keep explaining to me what i already know (how seasonal battles work), but you're unable to understand my point just cause you haven't had this experience i guess.
I finished the full collection last week. But if you want to save the full pics, do it before claiming everything. When you claim the full set, it will completely disappear
Good. You are finally at the stage not to expect anything. Now you can focus on the things in the game that are fun to you. You can RP walk around the world, taking in the sights; you can help new players and open groups for them to join; you can take some shovels from silverwastes and start digging in the tunnel.
I did this long ago. I don't care anymore about story. I enjoy doing other things, and the game keeps consuming my time. I engage in raids and strikes, try to bench higher with new classes I don't master, go wvw and roam, zerg or whatever is going on, get absorbed with fashion wars and new ways to combine new armors with old stuff, go achievement hunting.... I've been playing for 6,5 years and never got bored, and tbh story is what I care the less...
Definitely yes, and more so lately. They've been adding lots of good QoL like bank content when using mystic forge, also the Refill option on mystic forge too, search bars, inventory buttons... Take a look on couple last parch notes and you'll see
I had the luck of dropping a permanent bank contract from a b lchest, and since, i have been buying bank tabs each time they're on sale. I simply can't run out of space, and I can use it with each character. It's hands down the best item i have (and I have all the other perm contracts)Better than any legendary item or any other QoL
Shortbow thief is the goat. Daredevil with unhindered combatant, and sigils of air and fire for extra tagging. Can't be beat in terms of mobility, stun breaks, tags, and can swap to staff for real damage on bosses.
Maybe this is not going to be a popular answer, but...it's a Legendary item. The grind and also the feeling of accomplishment you get by completing it has to be ...legendary. You are proving you did awesome difficult stuff to get that item, and you deserve it for your effort in all of the game modes either PvE AND competitive. So yes, legendaries are not something you have t have, but something really convenient but also kind of a status thing.
The "legendary" journey is all yours. You decide how boring or not it will be. There some who pay for gifts of exploration, there's others that enjoy doing map completion, there's others that flip camps and others that follow tags and learn how to play the gamemode.
Oh yeah, that so much! All the time invested in different looks so i can say when I'm alac tempest or dps, or power, condi, heal, on mech... But i have to dye my glider black....
All the things you say make lots of sense, but sometimes you don't choose your fights. If one stealth enemy comes to me, that puts me in combat without "wanting" (cause he picked me as his fight) so I just have the option of fighting back or running for disengage. And the latter it's sometimes hard with thieves with so many ports and stuff...

That's why I don't join lab trains with thieves. They're always wanting to go first and destroy everything before anyone.

I think black bear and snowl owl will be the best defensive switches. Smokescale will always be the best offensive one tho.
I've been doing crazy condi SB experiments and can't wait to play with jungle spider and murellow. I'm a weirdo, i know.
