His goal is to reunite fractured space time, aka the different worlds/timelines we see and to do this he intends to merge them all and it seems like the sorrow and despair from the amount of people this merger will kill will feed the planet and prolong its life as thats part of his goal. Keeping the planet alive as long as possible which aerith says isnt how it is supposed to be.

Yeah they were pretty cool. Came in a little envelope thing that folded out into a stand for them. I'm not sure they were worth the 5 or so hour wait in the rain lol, but the show definitely was.
I've never played Nier but honestly 2B's design actually has merit to it other than being attractive. White hair, black blindfol and the dress being so big and gothic. Creates a distinct silhouette and then a unique face in that you barely even see her face. Plus, a good colour contrast.
The problem with them doing it this way is they totally missed the opportunity to get that big emotional payoff in story telling by showing all that now on the heels of our journey with her. Now we are going to see it in 3-4 years towards the beginning of Part 3 when all the narrative and emotional momentum is gone. We (the players) despite seeing this through Cloud’s perspective , know she dies, especially us OG fans. So all of us with that knowledge already, were left hanging by that ending in that it did not deliver that emotional payoff we all expected knowing how how the story goes in OG. I still loved the game and have faith they will do it all justice in part 3 but there is no question that they missed an opportunity to use that emotional narrative momentum that they had at end of Part 2.
I don't think they'll start with it. We'll probably spend time as cloud thinking aeriths still around, and when he falls into the lifestream or whatever event that happens where tifa helps him get it together, he'll then have to come to terms with her death I bet.
Even still they wasted the momentum. The way they are telling it would make sense if no one knew Aerith dies but they are obscuring something that most fans know already so instead of using the narrative momentum to show an extremely emotional climactic moment that we all knows happens, they leave the audience confused.
It wasn't really the Masonic. AEG basically put the Masonic in a position where they had no choice but to boot TB, which tracks with the previous issues TB has had since giving AEG more control of Masonic. Seems like it's been a slow elbow out that finally escalated.

R1 isn’t really a great movie. It has a ton of flaws, but also has the best star wars action sequence and people overweigh it because of that.
Honestly the first 4/5s of that movie are all over the place with pacing and character decisions.
